  1. A noble quest. I hope you don't have a certain Muslim come into this thread and destroy your efforts.

  3. Why no answer? Should I take your non-answer as an affirmative?
  4. Stop acting like a politician, ironically as you don't vote answer the questions that was asked of you.
  5. Come on Ibrahim we want to know where you are coming from.
  6. Come on Ibrahim we want to know where you are coming from. Come on Ibrahim we want to know where you are coming from.
  7. I live on a small island north of the European continent, so I am used to unpredictable weather. I can tell you, as a countryside ranger, that our weather has become less predictable over the last decade. Where I live we used to have snow on a yearly basis, I haven't seen snow in 3 years. Why is this important? It is important because crops are failing. Now food means people starve. This is an issue that is affecting the whole world. Africa is starving because of the carefree attitudes of the developed world. Jesus says something about that sort of stuff.
  8. http://archangelsgoc.org/news/releases/orthodox-bishops-letter-on-climate-change.html You might want to read this. The Orthodox church locally have also been quite progressive when it comes to lgbt matters.
  9. Why do you not answer Rozalia's question? Is it too personal?
  10. Now, now......whilst Ibrahim's views, as understood by us, may be detestable there is no need to go with the insults. It is probably not his fault that he holds such views.
  11. Levelled is correct in Englsh. The problem is that for many nations Religion is part of national identity, why is IS trying to break people? Is that really what Allah wants? Forcing people to change their beliefs leads to contempt from those people. IS seems to be an organisation of terror, killing anyone who stands up against their ideology, the archaeologist of Palmyra being a prime example.
  12. What happens when the people, quite reasonably, want to keep their identity?
  13. Why are ISIS destroying the secular buildings of Palmyra Ibrahim? Who benefits from the loss of historic monuments? Surely it is your history that defines the culture of a people, such as the Syrians.
  14. The ironic thing is that most Americans are immigrants.
  15. I liked that post, not because I agreed with it, but because it was impersonal. It was well written and gives a good understanding of Vivke's views. Isn't Lysanderius a Mormon?
  16. That is what I was trying to address with the above post, in particular the last sentence.
  17. Personally I would say the criterion is whether they adhere to the Nicene Creed or not. I don't have any problem with those who don't, in fact I wish them well because we all get to meet God in the end. I don't advocate their murder and I don't think that any real Christian would or could.
  18. Fundamentalism in Christianity is to take every word on its own merit, fundamentalist treat the bible as a tool of science. They take no note of the massive debates of the first century of which they have not heard. All christians adhere to the fundamental principles that Jesus laid down. We believe Jesus to be more than a prophet and thus his words have more clout than the OT.
