Top News: First Prince Ericson Decides to Stay in Capital For Recovery
Having been injured during the Western Campaign, the usually active prince has made a statement that he would be staying in the capital until his shoulder heals.

"I have to get healthy again and it'll give my family some peace to know that I'm not pushing it anymore than I should be. But the moment I do get back to full strength, I plan to get back out there. I hope to go back west myself to see how things are coming along."

Empress Amaryllis, still a bit intense after her speech earlier, didn't even try to hide the smile when she heard and gave her statement, "Empress or not, I'm still a mother, so I would have knocked him out if it meant to get him to relax."

Behind her, Emperor Balto laughed, "And I wouldn't have stopped him."

We have yet to get a statement from First Princess Lucia who, despite her initial excitement for the campaign, appeared shaken up when she heard the news of her brother's injury. Second Princess Gem, as we all know, has never been one to talk to the media.

A Small Protest In Zelf Occurred Soon After the Empress' Announcement
For those who have seen our edition, getting the opinion of random Omni citizens on their feelings involving the Empress decision with how to go forward after the campaign. Some says she has been too lenient, and people in our kingdom's second oldest city, Zelf, apparently felt the same way when they took the streets soon after the Empress' announcement.

The protest, from what our sources told us, had been started by an older doctor who had a son in the Western Campaign that were one of the few casualties. He called for those who had engaged the kingdom to at the very least be expelled from the kingdom and "to not be given a slap on the wrist".

The Seekers have been order to keep an eye on the protest but to not disrupt it unless the protesters are a threat to one of them or civilians. As of now, no one from the royal family have yet to comment.

Orion Expands With New Military Barrack, Plans to Start Training Troops Soon
Our kingdom's newest city of Orion is starting to prosper with one of its newest editions being a military base. This base will join the first one - our kingdom does require one military barrack per city at least - and will be able to train another 3000 soldiers. If, and that might become a when soon once the Pack Generals get the okay from the empress, troops begin training, they will most likely be deployed to our new western territory with a few responsibilities being border patrol and overseeing the rebuilding process. Already, younger citizens have talked of enlisting.

Economy Booms Soon After the Campaign
With the expansion of our kingdom and current cities, comes the expansion of the economy. This is met with excitement as it means a minimum wage increase and more job opportunities for both our current citizens and our newest citizens from the campaign.

Lady Nala Will Go to the West to Oversee the New Territory
Lady Nala, the younger sister of our empress, has always been more reclusive, even before her sister was chosen to become our empress. Once her sister had taken the throne, her and her husband, former Wintery Delta Commander Zachary Anderson, have taken to living quietly in the capital; however, as to not stretch the empress and her family too thin, the Empress has requested Lady Nala to relocate to the west to be a governor of the area to say. It is rumored that the empress will make this official once the West has managed to rebuild.

The Shooter of Samuel Ether Death Ruled Homicide
The Seekers have finally released their results into the investigation of the death of "Gray", the man believed to be responsible for the shooting of Pack member Samuel Ether. The man had been found in a cabin near Wintery's borders, hung from the same hood he wore when he shoot Ether. Although suspicious of it actually being a suicide since the man was almost out of the country and would have certainly been able to get a head start and the note pinned to him with the words "The Organization" on it, the Seekers had to make sure that it really was a homicide and not someone who shot a royal guard and had decided to kill himself instead of facing a trial.

"How he was hung was inconsistent," says Trisha Mills, lead Seeker in the investigation, "the angle wasn't right. Also, he had a gun on him from when he attacked Ethers, he could have used that instead of hanging himself."

Trisha said her team will investigate more into "The Organization", whom they believe was the one responsible for "Gray's" death. It is possible that it is also where Randolph Ether went to get his loans, which is believed to have lead to the shooting.

Samuel Ether had returned home after being treated for the gunshot to the chest and has stated he would return to duty once he has fully recovered. He was met with a rather large cash donation from the royal family. As for his older brother, he was released from jail after being held on contempt charges, but his father had publically stated he no longer has an oldest.

"He has disgraced this family, and more importantly put it in danger! I love my son, I do, but I won't allow a coward to carry our family name!"

Randolph has been reported to join the effort to help rebuild the West, the Seekers have made it clear he will be monitored and will be questioned again if needed into their investigation.

"If he refuses to cooperate again, a contempt charge and few nights in jail will be the least of his troubles," Trisha stated.

Coming Soon: Interview with the First Prince
We have been trying, once more, to get into the palace for a one-on-one interview with First Prince Ericson. We do plan to wait until he's more recovered, and we know that he'll be just as willing as his sister to this interview, if for anything else, to assure the people that he is fine.

We hope you're as excited as we are.
