Fear of Discrimination Has Lead the Chinese to Form Their Own Group

As it is known, the Kingdom of Wintery is located on mainland China. When the kingdom was first formed after the Great Threading, the citizens began to call themselves Cicilians (yes, it's a reference to icicles), even the First Empress Saira; however, those who still identified themselves as Chinese were allowed to do so, although tensions have lead to some discrimination that had only been rectified through Empress Saira's successor, Empress Vixen passing the first anti-discrimination law - the WBR law (We Bleed Red) - that made it a crime to discriminate against the Chinese population and our still small Taiwanese population.

Despite this law that is still in place, the Western Campaign and the reaction of some citizens believing the Chinese that had engaged the kingdom's army had been let off easy, has lead some of Wintery's current Chinese population to become frightful that they will face some type of discrimination and has thus decided to form what is called the "Chinese Pride".

The new group had formed in Zelf and is being lead by On Li, a man who is a worker in the iron mines and had actually immigrated to Wintery from China when he was a child.

"Do I think the campaign should have gone with no bloodshed? Yes. Do I still believe in the royal family? Yes. Do I believe pain and loss and anger can lead to someone getting hurt? Definitely! I want to make sure those like me have someone who can help get their voice out there when they feel silenced. To make sure hate doesn't get a pass. I do hope that this group won't be needed, but I would rather play it safe than sorry."

On says the group will, for now, comprise of a few spokespeople, doctors lawyers, and counselors. Their first intention is to head west and help their newest Chinese brethren become accustomed to the kingdom's way of life while also maintaining their identity.

"Maybe they will chose to become Cicilians too, but if they wish to remain Chinese, we want to show them they won't be alone. We want to make sure no more conflict can come of this."
