A Documentation of the M.O.T.H.H Virus,

Stationed at the Chernobyl Power Plant Incident, Mothaya is host to much radiation and nuclear waste. However, much more deadly than that, is the Menial Obligation Terminal Hypothalamic Hamartoma Virus, or M.O.T.H.H Virus. This man-made disease spreads through moths, causing their behavior to take a violent turn. Under the M.O.T.H.H virus, a moth will make a savage attempt to fly into the ear of an unsuspecting human. If successful, the moth will lay its plague ridden eggs inside the human body. When hatching, the eggs will not release larvae; instead, a gaseous substance will be released, spreading the virus through the body. This is when the M.O.T.H.H Virus is most potent.
Here, the virus will alter the nature of the host, causing strange side effects. The human will become seemingly impervious to hunger, thirst, fatigue, or lack of oxygen. The host also receives a most curious change of body temperature control from homeothermic to poikilothermic. Under the permanent effects of the sickness, one becomes fully aligned to the reign of Mothman, in which the host will serve him and him only. This odd effect could be due to the DNA of Mothman mixed into the virus. Not much else is known about the M.O.T.H.H Virus, other that the substance is only created in Mothaya itself. However, it appears that this disease is used as a defensive mechanism rather than a means of attack. If they were used for attacking, well, we would definitely be in danger.

In a new press release Vladimir Zhogin stated, "I have some control over my mutated friend down south. He has been a great friend of mine since I found him after the Chernobyl explosion. He gave me the city of Motheus. He has managed to brainwash thousands, but I don't have that much control over it."
