All of the people that have raided me have militaries larger than mine could ever be at my level because those nations with giant militaries are only able to pay for their militaries with money they make from raiding. I am saying that raiding is fine because the goal is to get money not to damage but big alliance wars are bad because the perpose is to do damage. Edsel Posted November 30, 2015 Share Posted November 30, 2015 Oh, well, I am ok with alliance wars as long as no one attacks my nation or my alliance. Huge alliance wars cause the prices of almost all goods to increase, which increases the amount of money my nation makes per day, but they do increase they price of uranium on the market which is not good for my country. Also, many of the larger nations in my alliance have been obliterated and decimated by senseless wars, so maybe that's not the best thing for Orbis. If their were fewer wars, it would be more difficult to make money because the prices of the resources used in wars would decrease. It would be harder to sell those resources and make a large profit. Edsel Posted November 30, 2015 Share Posted November 30, 2015 OK, well raiding is the largest problem in orbis because raids are very damaging to the nations being raided because of the infrastructure and military units that they destroy, and the nations that raid are not only doing actual damage to the nations that they raid, they are also doing emotional demage. Raiders are basically sending a message to every nation that they raid that says "I am stronger than you. I can do what I want." Most alliances (especially Arrgh) are either unwilling or even encourage the raiding of other nations by their members. Also, we could not defeat these raiders militarily. Raiders have done a lot of damge to my country before I am even able to find out about it. All of the nations that have raided me also spend all of their money on military, so my military is not large enough to defeat their militaries.
