Goand is preparing for presidential elections after Parliament announced an extraordinary election caused by the death of former President Franklin Templeton. 

Election date is yet to be announced

Here are the candidates that have announced their run:

John Brinks (Social Democrats) 

Mark Bergen (Democratic Liberal Party)

Alex Schiff (Libertarian-Anarchist Coalition)

Raja Williams (Reform Party)

Michelle Anderson (Struggle of the Goandian Workers)

Thomas Aldon (United Front Party)

 

Here is a summary of their policies:

John Brinks:

Socially libertarian, fiscally far left- extreme left

 

Mark Bergen:

Socially Moderate, fiscally moderate

 

Alex Schiff

Socially libertarian, fiscally conservative

 

Raja Williams

Socially conservative, fiscally conservative

 

Michelle Anderson

Socially authoritarian, fiscally extreme left

 

Thomas Aldon

Socially authoritarian, fiscally conservative
