Totally Hatebi
Some good favorites of mine are eggnog+ by Madgarden, dwarf fortress, and caves of Qud. Any favorites you like?

Angleedke
I’m a big fan of ASCII-style games! One of my favorites has to be ASCII Solitaire. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so engaging. I once spent an entire afternoon trying to beat my high score while on a road trip, and it turned into a fun little competition with friends. The minimalist graphics really don’t take away from the gameplay—sometimes, less is more. Other favorites of mine include ASCII Dungeon and Nethack. They have that old-school charm that’s hard to beat. Edited August 5, 2024 by Angleedke
Dinnobel
I used to mess around with NetHack during late-night sessions—something about the randomness kept me hooked. Also tried some ASCII-based space traders back in the day. Found myself comparing those old mechanics to stuff I see now, like how people try to get an edge with things like a War Thunder cheat. It's wild how games have changed but folks still look for shortcuts. Edited June 16 by Dinnobel
