September 17th - October 9th We're proud that once again it's time to bring the community together for our second Orbis Olympics. The 1st Orbis Olympics proved to be a fantastic turnout with over 70 players representing 31 different alliances. This time we've perfected the formula to give people more time, availability, and rescheduling for any missed matches. As some of you may remember from 2021 this is what the schedule looked like: With a lot of new knowledge here's what's changing for the Second Biennial Orbis Olympics: Tweaks ~ Games will be played out over the course of three weeks instead of just one. ~ Instead of hosting the Orbis Olympics in a separate sever and having named arenas we will be hosting games in the actual alliance severs. (ex. Instead of having "Camelot Arena" matches will be played in the Camelot alliance server. All match reporting, award ceremonies, and videos will still be held in the Orbis Olympics Discord server.) ~ Sign up period has been extended by an extra week. ~ Prizes have been increased: Gold $10m -> $30m Silver $5m -> $15m Bronze $2.5m -> $5m Removals ~ Codenames has been dropped as an official Orbis Olympic Event. ~ Group Minecraft Build Battles has been dropped as an official Orbis Olympic Event. (Solo is still available) ~ All video recording bots have been removed. Matches that wish to be recorded need to be recorded by one of the players. Additions ~ League of Legends (5 man teams) has been added by request of the previous Olympic Committee ~ Counter Strike: Global Offensive (3 man teams) has been added by request of the previous Olympic Committee ---------- You can sign up for the Olympics here.
