Varspasian Posted November 3, 2014 Share Posted November 3, 2014 Today Grand Chancellor Varspasian declared Silistrious "A true democracy once more". Many are unsure whether or not this is true, however in a testament of good will the Chancellor declared the current military "Null and Void". Although this has left the nation at a serious militaristic disadvantage, the Chancellor promises that a new military will be erected immediately. The change from a Stratocracy to Democracy is truly a shock for most people however, and many are skeptical of the Chancellor's motives. Some argue that political opponents of the Chancellor had connections to the Military, which is why the Chancellor had it disbanded. Whatever the case, most people believe that this so called "Democracy" will be short lived, and the nation will return to a Stratocracy once the Military is restored.
