One suicide attack engineered behind the scenes would set the stage for Venezuela to succumb to a new player. The above were the last words of a suicide bomber who was able to broadcast his message to the country before killing himself and a large portion of the government who were held hostage. This attack while labeled a terrorist attack by Rebels has now placed the country into the hands of the military and whats left of the government. However, the current General of the military in Venezuela in a shocking move was able to convince the rest of his staff to hand over a large portion of control to Britannia. After reaching out to the military based not too far away in their invasion of Cuba, the agreement would dictate absolute control of capital and surrounding area to Britannia with the rest of the country to be controlled by the de-facto government.

 

This would allow the government to run the country underneath a Britannian umbrella. This comes as a huge shock to the world as no previous reports were made and the sudden change seems very drastic. However, Britannia troops and ships have already left Britannia and made their way to the coast in order to secure their newfound control of the area. It's unknown what is next for the country, but a press release from various members from Britannia and Venezuela is expected to begin within the week.

With Britannian troops beginning to land in Caracas the entire coastal area has been on high alert in defence of Britannia's maneuvers around the Americas. A new order has been put into place that all trade vessels doing business near Britannia will be subject to searches. This is due to the fact that with the collapse of multiple governments in the area, the issue of illegal funding will now be at the forefront of politics. Britannia will show mercy to those who surrender, while those who refuse will be targeted and taken down with any force deemed fit by Britannia.

With the formal signing to establish Britannian control of Caracas more chaos begins to ensue in the area mainly aimed to rally rebels in the country before Britannian troops and equipment arrives. Many agencies working with Britannia believe these are aimed to kick-off revolts and cause Venezuela to back out of the deal. Despite this, Britannia once again making their stance clear on the rebels has not changed. The most recent event being a small cargo ship refusing to stop to Britannian ships for inspection. Despite warning the ship that any continued advances will be met with deadly force the ship was fired at by a Britannian destroyer sinking the ship and killing nearly everyone onboard. It is unclear if there were any survivors as no reports have come out of either Britannia or Venezuela.

Britannia and the Venezuelan De-Facto Government have signed into law the transfer of the Caracas region to Britannia in exchange for help with controlling and combating rebels around the area. This was also upgraded to maintaining a strong stance on smuggling of weapons into the region that have been shipped from around the world. The signing event went without any major disruptions due to the heavy presence of security. This has provided citizens with a bit of hope to see the end of terror from cartels, rebels, and other illegal organizations.
