Imperium - The Basics

Imperium is a nation steeped in a dark history. In efforts to sum up our history, we have created a summarized version to help new citizens and the world to understand how exactly we got to where we are today. 

Several years ago, our land was controlled by a people who did not have the best interests of us in their hearts or minds. Our population was used for the economy in terms of heavy labor and in return, the government in control reaped the benefits while we died by the masses due to horrible conditions, no healthcare, and no food. Within our own community we developed our own system of economy which we called Imperium. We knew that one day we would grow strong enough if we worked together instead of against each other.

We started smuggling weapons, food, and any other supplies and amassing them all over the city. One night, July 24th 2013 - our leaders were planning a get-together. Cliche right? It was the only time everyone within our leadership would all be in the same place, the best thing? They hire us to work it and handle everything. The problem they brought upon themselves was trusting people they have oppressed for decades. 

That was their last night.

The leadership of Imperium took their place. Anyone associated with the previous government was either exiled or executed. We adopted the name Imperium for our nation - our old name will never be said again.Because of our financial and economic interests within our own economy, we founded ICom or Imperial Communications. Imperial Communications outright - owns - Imperium. This means every citizen of Imperium is considered an employee - every enterprise is owned by Imperium. The idea is, everyone can strive - everyone is safe.

Our system of working together, for each other, and for the betterment of our people has been a wide success. 

We treat our people as if they belong and they have say and motivation to strive.

Our leadership operates as long as they can and will with the full discretion of our people to remove them if needed.

 

Leadership of ICom/Imperium:

These leaders work with each other for the betterment of ICom and Imperium. They directly oversee each of the 5 districts of Imperium (which we will disclose later). Each district has representatives that the district chooses to voice concern and make sure we are doing our job correctly.


We are open to questions from the world, we understand this is vague - but this is our summarized account of our world and why we are here and how we are here.
