Closure of the Red Gates

As the outside world begins to clash in a battle of ideology and weapons the GSO must wield their shield. As some progress continues in the UN, preparations for both offensive and defensive operations continue their deployment. The Sufi Order met with their fellow departments alongside the Sultan and his advisor to decide the future path of the country. Two major decisions were able to be reached and were quickly put into law as a way to respond to the threats of the outside world.

 

The first major decision reached was with the Sheikh of Foreign Affairs on movement between nations and government/economic meetings This was a major point that was raised by nearly all parties as it was one of the few fields had neglected. While discussing with his fellow Sheikhs and from input from the Sultan. Alongside the Sheikh of Economics both have come to conclude the following:

Fully ban any/all Communist nations (Excluding SoE) from investing, importing, exporting resources with the Grand Sufi Order.

As well as any diplomatic relations made with Communist nations (Excluding SoE) will be downgraded simply to acknowledging and respecting their land and rule.

This includes the travel ban to and from Communist nations, once again excluding the SoE. Any complications with the decree should be addressed to the Sheikh of Foreign Affairs. 

 

Finally, the final major decision made was the announcement of the remaining stronghold in the heart of the GSO near Iraq. A large amount of dedication from the diplomacy team under the Sheikh of Foreign Affairs. The land was quickly handed over the GSO stabilizing the entire Northern Region. Thus quickly directing any future investigation now south near the Red Sea for any further expansions.

Breaking:

Following a revisit of the ban of good traded with Communist nations as well as the change in currency in which oil is supplied a new law has been put into play. With the exception of France and SoE the GSO's oil industry will now become around 90% nationalized. Thus closing the gates for any further foreign acquisition of private oil and opening the gates for increased money to hopefully flow into the GSO coffers as they move to form a closer bond with their two allies in the close region.
