Bismillah, In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Kind.

Today is a most joyous day in the Grand Sufi Order as the Sultan has implemented a number of changes to the country to close off the year as we enter a new age. These changes mainly address military, foreign affairs, internal affairs, and more. These changes will be covered shortly by the respected Sheikhs and their departments to better allow the country, and world to know the government of the GSO.

As for the Military a few major changes and purchases have been made. Mandatory Service has been implemented for all civilians reaching the age of 18 who must serve a year. While this policy is expected to face backlash, the government has emphasized the need to have a defence ready nation in an increasingly hostile world. Which leads up to the multi-billion purchases completed between France and the Grand Sufi Order. With 20 Destroyers and 2 Carriers being purchased from France and being supplied into the Navy once being completed. The rest of the Navy such as Cruisers, Submarines and so on will be completed by the country itself as to have the ability to maintain and build their own equipment.

Next up would be the Foreign Affairs that have been a bit slow to kick off as expected. However, a majority of goals have been achieved in the terms of being able to remain neutral in the game of Empires.

SoE:

In order to prevent history from repeating itself and prevent bloodshed in the Middle East both governments were at the very least able to agree not to wage war on one another and not expand into one another areas of interest.

France:

France has been the major contributor to expand into the friendly aspect of the Grand Sufi Order. Not only were they able to achieve embassies, they were also able to compile military contracts in order to ensure the Middle East would be free from Western Imperialism.

USSR:

No major diplomatic moves have been made nor planned for the fear it would drag the Grand Sufi Order into combat. However, meeting with the USSR government in hopes to avoid future conflict has gone through and is hopefully expected to run smoothly.

Rokkenjima:

The nation far East and unknown to mankind has so far been the least productive. Mainly due to the hidden fear of what the nation is capable of and what they truly are places the GSO is a harmful spot has made the nation reluctant to fully pledge dedication to fully establishing diplomatic ties. However, a GSO embassy was successfully accepted in Rokkenjima proving that a future between the nations isnt impossible.

A few other nations have been able to establish embassies and begin diplomacy with the GSO including Germany, the US, and British Empire. While no further advancements were made, the beginning of diplomacy is still a step in the right direction.

For Internal Affairs France has been pledging vast amounts of money into the GSOs military and economy. While details cant be revealed what can be published is that the contract established between the nations will generate billions of dollars for both nations and advance the GSOs military in terms of supplies and logistics.

Much more is expected to occur as the country slowly but surely advances to collaborate with other countries. However, the GSO is careful to ensure they are able to maintain their neutral status in the event neighbouring countries wage war on one another.
