Ministry of Health and Interior Investigate Hungadada Food Scare

    The Laurentian Office of Food and Beverages has now barred and ceased the imports of Hungadada born and raised foods. Following the reports from the Hungadada Ministry of Health, Laurentian Federal Agents seized ProductGreen assets in Laurentia and relocated Hungadada containers of food. Laurentian Police and Security Forces headed to stores and business urging them to remove stocks of Hungadada food. The cost of damage is expected to cost 2.28 Billion Francs. The Laurentian Central Bank and Banque Nationale expected Laurentia’s stock market to take a serious crash in agriculture.

    Laurentian Opposition parties rallied today, blaming TEA which facilitates a freedom of trade between Laurentia, Scandinavia, and Hungadada. After the introduction of TEA, Laurentia dropped the food ban on both states, allowing Scandinavian meats, and produces to arrive in Laurentia. The Bill introduced by Korczak’s Government removed regulations on GMOs, Modified Fruits, and Crops that were protected with pesticides. 

    Another concern for the Laurentian Agriculture Ministry is the contamination of Laurentian crops. Both the cheese and wine industry are massive inside Laurentia.

    The United Laurentia Party joined by the Laurentia Insoumise called for re-introducing the Agriculture Ban on TEA members, vowing to halt any Government intervention to raise falling assets of ProductGreen and the State Run ENA. 

Laurentian Special Forces Capture lead suspect in the Port Royalty Bombings

    Laurentian Special Forces under Operation Chammal tipped off by Hungadada Intelligence captured Alexander Politman. The Mid-Aged Hungadada citizens entered Laurentia under the alias of Karl van Trebuche, a Dutch refugee living in Laurentia before heading into the contested Flemish region where Laurentian Troops are engaged in a conflict against the Flemish Republican Army. 

    The FRA, a group based on fighting Laurentia’s control of Flanders joined forces with The Anti-Hungadada Movement of AHM using Cobra a former chemical project of the Joint Green Protection Agency; a multi-national project. Although Cobra has also been produced by the Laurentian Defense Ministry and is located several labs across Laurentia and Hungadada for research purposes it is highly lethal and has a quick incubation period in which it can regenerate and a speedy mitosis incubation. Laurentian and Allied troops launched Operation Chammal to reduce FRA grip on the Flemish Government before AHM militants joined the fight, sparking a greater conflict. 

    Alexander Politman was captured in an operation orchestrated by the Laurentian DGSE, Flemish RGS, and Laurentian GROM operators. Although the operation resulted in 2 civilian deaths and 1 GROM operator being injured, Politman was apprehended by Laurentian Troops, being confined to an Airbase inside Flanders as the Laurentian Government plans to extradite him. Politman was captured with FRA leader Benoit Trevans. With Trevans expected to be transported to Paris to be persecuted.

Ministry of Defense White Paper 2017

    The White Paper of 2017 outlined growing threats to Laurentia, methods of improvement, and future conflicts. Listing the threats of Laurentia as Climate Change, Degrading ethnic relations in Europe, Reubenia, MoG[Corp] and SPARTa, the White Paper drafted from June concluded in its reports that Rainbow would require a boost to increase combat readiness from 4 distinct linguistic and cultural nations to ensure mobility and proper military readiness. 

    Rising sea levels, and unpredictable weather patterns not only put Laurentia’s troops on deployments at risk, but alter the tactics of Laurentian OOB. Measures to reduce the carbon-footprint of Laurentia, and prepare for rising tides, polluted air, and possible contamination of crops and other essential foods.     Both Laurentia’s Arctic Military Command and Arctic Defense Group have readdressed Laurentia’s winter warfare which saw an increase of 5 Billion Francs, developing cold-resistant fatigues, insulated shoes, combat uniforms, and weapons that were protected from the cold air of the Arctic. 

    Laurentia also established the National Security Council in 2017 to address Security Concerns of Laurentia, and provide meaningful insight to the President. 

    Laurentian Defense Sales rose drastically, amounting to 400 Billion Francs, the main partners of Laurentia include; Resoria, The Nova Empire, and Wintery. The Sales increased the Laurentian Economy, which also saw its own share of growth as a result of Laurentia’s increased defense industry. Thales, Renault, and the Industrial Complex provide Laurentia with greater access to equipment and provide potential bids for Project Wasp. Laurentia is encouraged to acquire Lockheed as a potential company or invest in their aviation programs. Leopard is another technological competitor to look into. 

    The Strategic Homeland Defense or SHD has received modifications. The 2 Year Inspection has completed, with a majority of armories being under-equipped for medical and provisions. The Defense Ministry declares this a vital aspect of the SHD; being able to survive before the Armed Forces can arrive is crucial to the SHD. The SHD renovations will see MRE’s, Medical Supplies, First Aid, and retired FAMAS rifles. We also expect 12 Million eligible citizens in the SHD to no longer be eligible, with a growing youth who lack both the health and ability to continue with the 18 month military service, we urge a new approach to both Health and instilling a sense of patriotism in the youth who are distantly no longer taking part in the Military Service, opting for community and government service. The 18 Month Military Service has also seen steady disapproval, and we ask that the loopholes, from increased taxes, “Medical” conditions, educational exempts, and dual-citizens be addressed to ensure that our citizens are not upholding their national duty to the nation. 

    The Defense Ministry deems Project Mira as a potentially successful project. Following Operation Citadel, the Mira was able to provide undetected transport for our special operators to and from the objectives, only receiving minor damages to the internal systems which say levels of overheating, however, this occurred an hour into the operation versus the 15 mins beforehand. 

    The Ministry of Defense views TEA and Rainbow as viable defense and a deterrent against aggression on Laurentia. On this note, The Defense Ministry believes moves forward diplomatically are also required to provide a backdrop for Laurentia’s National and Foreign Interests. 

Boston falls to Laurentian Troops

    The Laurentian Military landed in Boston, the first move ever since the expansion of Laurentia’s grip on The East Coast. Laurentian Ground Troops landed in the unorganized Boston City, an educational hub and vital to Laurentian expansion into Canada and New England was now established. The educational sectors of the city will be revived, with the Governor of Americas in Louisiana placing Micheal Dorm as acting-mayor of Boston. 

    The Operation was subtly, with no injuries. The Boston City Hall was captured, before taking Logan International Airport, The Bridges in and out of the city, and closing the border with Novan Massachusetts. Troops set up across the border just in case Nova attempted to enter Boston. 

 

Militant Offensive in Flanders

    The Laurentian Military operating in Flanders had the first major offensive by the New World Order Alliance. The NWOA was coined as no information on the new FRA-AHM group has been provided. The NWOA launched a new series of attacks on Laurentian and Flemish Troops, killing 102 in the recent 7-day offensive to reclaim eastern Flanders were Wintery and Laurentian Troops combat the new Offensive to hold onto territory reclaimed from the FRA. The Airbases in Vale Heights and Hilldengrad came under severe attacks, damaging Laurentian and Britannia aircrafts and possible fatalities. The attack was at the suspected holding center for the AHM leader and Port Royalty Bombing Mastermind Alexander Politman. The Ministry of Defense did provide any comment on the situation to prevent further attacks on Coalition Troops and to protect the location of Politman. 

    In secret Politman is being moved to Paris where he will be held in a DGSI interrogation center before being extradited to Hungadada. The DGSI hope to get information on the new threat in Flanders and if AHM was aware of any FRA attacks against Laurentia. The DGSI center received new security upgrades from the Ministry of Interior and Director of National Security. 

Large Hadron Collider

The Large Hadron Collider in Geneva has worked on a new Rail Gun concept, while also working on the Proton accelerator project. The Rail Gun Concept has progressed rapidly. The Accelerator has also been handed to the Swiss Scientific Society to be properly maintained and help expand scientific research. 

2020 Election 

    President Laurens during a political dinner yesterday announced her possible 2020 election bid. Running for a third term, the Far Left Jean-Luc Melechon and Nationalist United Laurentia Party’s Marine Le Pen have already declared their intention to run. Rumors the UMP would place Lidia Korczak, the current Prime Minister as a possible contender, and the Law and Justice’s Eleanor Laketown. Current National Security Advisor Élisée, Foreign Minister Gérôme, Defense Minister Léo, and other Ministers have denied their intention or rumors to run in 2020. Millennial Jean-Bertrand Savoir has gained traction in polls, as possible independent bid. President Laurens faces a tough re-election campaign, although economic growth has been successful and the economic stagnation of 2012 and 2014 has been undone, public opinion in Laurens is at an all-time low of 52%. The main causes being Laurentia’s interventions into “allied” states, failed investment in California, the wars in Flanders and Switzerland, and her inability to place Laurentia back onto the European and National Spotlight. The United Laurentia Party has also been hammering the President with failing legislature and the recent food crisis. Although many in the Democratic Alliance support her; citing her re-brining of Laurentia into a regional super-power. Advancing education, and human rights across the world, negotiating the peaceful settlements in Ukraine and in the Middle East, strengthening the armed forces, and passing anti-terror, pro-business, economic growth-friendly, and strengthening the Franc. 

    Korczak herself has not denied any possible bid but did not confirm it either stating the future was uncertain, but she was happy as Laurens Prime Minister and wishes the UMP to focus on the 2020 parliamentary elections with the Democratic Alliance.

Laurentian Defense Ministry representatives spoke to MoG[Corp] agreeing on a Rail Gun Project for the new Laurentian Ships and possible land batteries.

Hungadada would like to extend our gratitude to the Laurentian authorities, for their diligence and tireless efforts in apprehending suspect Alexander Politman. Bringing peace to the victims in the form of justice for the perpetrators of the Port Royalty attack could not have been completed without Laurentian assistance. 

Hungadada supports the suspension of ProductGreen produce entering Laurentia. Hungadada looks to work with the Laurentian authorities to facilitate this suspension and work to limit the effects of any fallout. Hungadada will be pursuing criminal charges against ProductGreen. They will see justice to the fullest extent of Hungadadian law.
