Official Statement from His Majesty Emperor Tristar Majestica (HMETM):

 

 

“Hungadada remains on a path to becoming a world superpower; a force to be reckoned with; a force for the good of all Orbisians. Therefore, I have authorized a $500 billion increase the military budget. This now brings the combined total budget to $963 billion. This will allow greater R&D and greater capability of our Armed Forces. In the face of new threats that must be countered, this budget increase is now a necessity.â€

DSDH Official Public Statement:

 

 

Following a meeting with Emperor Tristar Majestica by Director Guild, it was noted that a budgetary increase for defense and security was the only way forward in protecting Hungadada and its interests. With new innovation and development needed on the weapons used by the Armed Forces, a $500 billion funding increase for defense and Defense R&D was signed. The new funds will be distributed as such:

 

 

Imperial Hungadadian Army (IHA)

 

 

Analysis of IHA movements noted that better tanks and ground artillery was needed alongside better soldier equipment and communications.

TOTAL FUNDING FOR IHA: $300 billion

 

 

Imperial Hungadadian Air Force (IHAF):

 

 

On analyzing the needs of the IHAF, it was noted that modernization of an aging fleet and increasing aircraft numbers overall was an urgent improvement point.

TOTAL FUNDING FOR IHAF: $200 billion

 

 

Imperial Hungadadian Navy (IHN):

 

 

On studying of the IHN, it was recognized that the IHN was in need of more ships, submarines and other naval vehicles including amphibious vehicles. It was also recognized that the IHN needed more advanced technology and better implementation of technology already available.

TOTAL FUNDING FOR IHN: $250 billion

 

 

Imperial Hungadadian Missile Command (IHMC):

 

 

On analysis of the IHMC, it was noted that better missile attack and defense capability was required. One particular point was the lack of an indigenous Hungadadian Missile Defense System, which should also be developed.

TOTAL FUNDS FOR IHMC: $110 billion

 

 

Imperial Hungadadian Special Forces (IHSF):

 

 

On studying the IHSF, it was noted that force lacked a dedicated Headquarters, dedicated command, and organized response teams. Furthermore, it was noted that the IHSF had a shortage of specialised equipment and transportation.

TOTAL FUNDS FOR IHSF: $103 billion
