Eva-Beatrice
Eva-Beatrice is seen sitting in the Council room, the place in which the Witch Council holds regular meetings. It is late at night, and the room itself is dimly lit. She picked up her cup of tea and sipped as she stared intently at the monitor in front of her, showing what appeared to be a live image of the planet Mars. Eva looked down at the table as she set down the cup, then looked back up as the monitor. "So, they've finally terraformed Mars, have they? Heh... Took them long enough..." Eva turned her head to her right to look at her regent, Kihara Tomoko. "Pretty pathetic, isn't it?" Eva said as she cackled. "Yes, Lady Eva." Kihara said in her usual calm tone as she waited for Eva to finish. It was a good fifteen seconds, or so, before she finally did. Eva took another sip of her tea. "Thanks for showing me this. I got a good laugh. Hehe..." Eva began to stretch out her arms while giving a big yawn. She stood up and started walking away. "Well, goodnight then." "Wait!" Kihara commanded. "I've more to show you than just an image of Mars..." Eva turned around in surprise. "What, really?" she asked as she made her way back and sat down. Kihara nodded, and proceeded to zoom in on a certain area of the planet where a glowing red dot was present. "You see, after several scans of the planet, we discovered that..." Kihara leaned in and whispered something into Eva's ear. Eva's eyes at first widened, then narrowed as she started at the monitor with a serious expression. "I see... And you're absolutely certain?" Kihara nodded. "Yes." Eva stood up once more and turned to face her regent. "Well then... I suppose this is our opportunity to colonize even more of the Orbis system." she said with a grin. "Send a starship to Mars with the necessary materials. After a while, we'll allow our citizens to relocate. It's crucial they think this is just another casual colonization." Kihara bowed as Eva began to walk away wearing an evil grin. "Yes, Lady Eva. I understand. Will there be a name for this colony?" Eva turned around and spoke. "I see no name for fitting than that of the planet we once destroyed. It shall be called...Saethea." 1 Quote When the seagulls cried, none were left alive.
