Military units in/ around Panama has been moved from DEFON 5(Normal Peacetime Readiness) to DEFCON 2 (High readiness; armed forces ready to deploy in six hours) The rest of Thundera's military has been placed to DEFCON 3 (Armed forces readiness increased above normal levels; Air Force ready to mobilize in 15 minutes)

 

The King has signed a Royal Decree for the full militarization of Thundera's Military.

 

 

In addition, 30,000 reserve troops in Panama has been placed in active duty and an additional 20,000 units, 5000 tanks, 650 aircraft and 30 ships shall be sent to Panama within the coming days.

 

Military in Panama after new units are brought in:

Soldiers: 71,000

Tanks: 10,500

Aircraft: 1,200

Ships: 45

Nuclear Weapons: 2

 

 

In addition, every nuclear weapon in Thundera has been activated and ready to launch.

 

 

When reporters asked the reason for such militarization, the King had this to say,

 

"While I don't like to build such a military up, I or Thundera will also not be threatened by terrorist and I will not be bullied into submission. Thundera has never negotiated with terrorist before and will not start now, or anywhere in the near future. We shall never surrender our lands to terrorist no matter how hard they try. Anyone that wishes to harm Thundera shall face our wrath."
