Government: Imperial Hereditary Elective

Our monarchy is hereditary, military worships the monarchy but political, military and diplomatic power lies in the parliament. However lately the emperor has been usurping power making the legislator more of a puppet with little to no actual power.

Economy: Mixed/Hybrid Socialist

Corporations are allowed to exist and profit and are not controlled by the government. Foreign corporations are allowed to exist as well however are subject to more regulations and surveillance than our own, the only nations allowed to be more free are the QE, EAR, and Arrgh nations.

All basic needs such as food, shelter, basic supplies, transportation and work are provided by the state at no cost. Homelessness is not accepted and not tolerated, though the house and food may be meager it is sufficient to keep citizens healthy enough to be able to work.

There are little taxes for the poor, higher for the wealthy. Once you reach enough income you have to pay for shelter and food etc. yourself. If you are poor you are not allowed to use drugs, alcohol or other addicting substances. Once you reach a stable income you can purchase alcohol. Drugs are only allowed for medical purposes, cannabis is treated the same as alcohol.

Society: Controlled/Planned

Citizens are never allowed to retire; if they cannot work labor or continue military service they will be placed in another sector of the economy. The country has state corporations in every industry where citizens can be placed according to needs; even rich citizens and owners of multinational corporations are forced to work if they decide to retire. Students are not allowed to choose their own jobs unless they have met multiple requirements for different lines of work; they can then choose the job that most pleases them. Welfare is only provided for the unemployed when they are extremely sick, or taking care of newborns/pregnant. The state provides free daycare, school, public transportation, financing, food, medicine, elderly care (if they cannot work) and housing to the poor.

Borders are closed to many nations, citizens are required to leave assets in Calondia if they leave for a trip. Corporations in Calondia where the owner is not a citizen are heavily taxed, excluding the QE and EAR.

Radio, television are free and independent; however the largest corporations are state sponsored and regularly use propaganda or used by the military.

Military

Military service is mandatory for four years, prison sentences can be altered to include military service. The police and government are heavily militarized, borders are militarized, and security is provided for all international ventures like ferries or air travel.

We have domestic security and police, international security, special operations, and border security agencies.

You may also ask questions here as well if you so choose.

Diplomacy:

QE: The government likes the QE and finds them easy to deal with. We have Oper Borders and increased trade. (Free Trade proposed)

EAR: The emperor likes Solaris, however the conservative citizens still are suspicious of witches. We have Open Borders and increased trade as well as the construction of integrated infrastructure like the underground highway and EAR radio transmissions in East Shikoku.

Arrgh alliance: We have Open Borders.

International Organisations:

International Anti-BioTerrorism Agency; Councilor.

Arrgh, Large Collective Naval Fleet; Admiral
