What is that change?I can barely accept the 5 sec delay on the home games, but also on the away games!? Did you even once looked at the diffrence of the player amount at the home/away games???

Baseball is time investment and the people that play it should also get something in return. Imo it is fine as it is. If people put in multiple hours they also deserve to get a reward for that. Also it shoudn't be forgotten that around 30%-50% of the earning will be tipped the away player so he also gain something for his work, you don't get the full payment out of it.
