Heya, I would like to propose a number of suggestions to address some issues that I see with the current way daychange impacts the game. Essentially its that one time that everybody has to be online and for some people having to be online at this specific time kinda sucks, because it’s in the middle of the night or during school or for some other reason not a time at which they are available. This is an actual major disadvantage to those players and I think for the sake of fairness needs to be addressed. I have come up with a few different ideas to address this problem to some extent.
Suggestion 1 is moving the time daychange happens.
Suggestion 2 is having the time daychange occurs change every once in a while.
Suggestion 3 is to distribute daychange among all turnchanges.
Suggestion 4 is allowing everyone to set their own time at which daychange occurs to just them.
More elaboration on each suggestion further below, hopefully one of them appeals to you.
Suggestion 1 :
Here’s my first suggestion, which is the simplest. The idea would just be to move day change to a more convenient time for everyone.
As you know, day change is currently during the night for Europeans, Africans and also Middle-East (between midnight & 6 am). Europe represents approximately ¼ of the players, add to that Middle-East & Africa and that’s about 30-35% of the players.
Obviously just moving day change will never be able to satisfy everyone, that first idea would simply be to move it when it would be during the day for most of the players. For example, the best idea to me would be to move day change from 3 to 6 hours earlier. In that case, day change would basically during the morning for Australia, NZ & Japan, during the afternoon for America & during the evening for Europe, Africa and Middle-East.
Of course there are downsides, in this case, this would be for Middle East & Central Asia mainly. However, what percentage of players are from Central Asia & Middle-East? 10% at most. Far less than those currently disadvantaged by the time of daychange.
I also have in mind that some people such as americans that work during the afternoon may not like that idea, but the objective is to find the best timezone to satisfate as many players as possible, when you think about it rationally, fricking up ¼ of the players with DC during the night for Europe, do you find that reasonable ?
Suggestion 2 :
The second idea, which would be harder to realize though, is to have a changing day change. This idea would be more fair for everyone.
Basically the idea is that Day Change moves every week (or month, why not ?) by 1 hour.
As a matter of example, if day change for a certain person is at midnight. Then next week, like for example every Sunday, day change would move to 1am for that person, next Sunday 2am, then 3am etc etc and back to midnight after 24 weeks. The objective of this suggestion is to have a loop which would be fair to everyone, no matter where you are.
Depending of the week, day change would be different and at the end, this would give advantages & disadvantages to everyone over the time.
Suggestion 3 :
The 3rd suggestion would permanently get rid of the day change issue for everyone alike.
Instead of having a set time at which day change occurs it could be changed in a way that daychange is sort of split up among all turnchanges, so each turnchange would do a 12th of what the daychange currently does.
Each turnchange you would have one 12th of your daily military rebuild added to your stack of military that you can currently commission, this stack would expand up to 24 turnchanges worth of military commission which then equals a double buy.
This would not only be a fair solution for every timezone alike, it would also increase game dynamic by getting rid of that one specific time at which everybody pays attention and would allow for more flexible blitzing at different times etc. overall making the game more interesting in addition to solving this issue.
Suggestion 4:
People could set their own daychange, which should be public, each nation could set it to whichever turnchange they want. This would result in 12 different combinations.
Of course, to avoid abuse, you could change it only every month or 3 months or something & only when your nation is not involved in a war. A potential downside is that alliance wide blitzes wouldn’t be at daychange for everyone.

I dont like the idea of increasing soldier cost, in a way, you're gonna just end up nerfing raiding again. So NO to increasing soldier cost.

When one nation is inactive for a certain period of time and gets declared on, its either after turnchange or daychange (not exactly sure how this works) they get automatically put into vacation mode. Since you Declared war before he was able to get into vacation mode, you will still be able to loot what he has on him if you beige him.
you can check by his last activity, that its impossible for himself to have put himself on vacation mode, hence why it was the game.

Whilst @Rebekah Mikaelson is no longer apart of The Originals. Any and all attacks on her will be seen as an attack on The Originals.
So ya’ll removed @Rebekah Mikaelson from The Originals yet ya’ll still counter for her if she were to Get hit? Sounds like bs to me. Just keep her in Lmfao.
Someone please hit her
