20 plus cities is middle tier
Anything below 20 is micro city and shall not be named.

if he and his friends had as you say 23 and 22 cities and you 7 cities they must not have had any infra or troops at all, An avg 22 city nation would have about 2000 to 2500 infra in each city and with the basic military they would be sitting at 4k nation score, but if you removed all their infra, all their military they would still be about 1100 nation score, now with 7 cities and say 1k infra in each city and a peace time standing army you would be at 800 nation score.
My point is they was clearly being beaten down hard by bigger nations and you tagged in nothing more, as with 7 cities you wouldn't even be able to beat one day re-buy.
Now if you meant to say 17 cities, well that's not really David vs Goliath, most nations that have 17 cities low infra maxed army could take out two nations with 23 cities who had a standing peace army and i say it that way as if they had a max army and so did you at 17 cities, you would not even be in range.
but never the less you support the perks so thats a plus :) -

I think its about time to upgrade the war side of the game, Right now war is boring its all based on how many cities and maxed planes, its easy to win if you outnumber who you are fighting with cities and with most alliance hiding billions for rebuild they simply do not care about infra.
The war between BC/Rose Vs IQ proved that, we hit them hard and fast but for most of the war they had zero tanks, ships, men and just used planes to pretty much wipe everything out, it was very very smart on their part but made the war boring, then when you take in to account the large amount of wasted steel, and such that BC/Rose side wasted doing land attacks and such it almost handed IQ the win, What i learned from that war is No tanks, No men, No ships and loads of planes and more cities will win any war, I am sure that's not how you wanted the war system to be.
I would love to see the Perks trialed and change that so people with lower city count has the chance to beat someone with a higher city count if they are smart, and so an alliance that just spams planes can lose massively (Right now everyone does planes vs planes, and once your planes are gone you have lost) So lets add in Ships that can shot down planes, or tanks or men, lets add the perks that will force people to be smarter, make them think and in turn make the war much more enjoyable.

Not at all, I know a few people who refuse to go above a set number of cities or infra in order to be able to hit micros and alliances to try to hide their banks, some people simply wish to remain as they are, why should they be labeled farms for that ?.
I mean a farm nation would be better off to grow with the farmer in order to keep up with the for ever growing cost of cities ? -

To be honest I was sure trading with someone on the same network was against the rules, that needs to be looked otherwise I could technically get 2 other people on who would barely play assist my nation while growing at a slower rate than me, it's just not right. Remember remember Skylar.

5 cities at 115 days farming bauxite, lead and coal, clearly they are staying at five cities and could have easy grown faster if they wish. -

Yeah hes 115 days old with five cities with 24 bauxite mines, So lets do the maths shall we, 24 mines X 3 tons each mine can do that's 72 tons a day then factor in the Econ buff that means he can make 101 (at 40% tho he with 5 in most and 6 in others would most likely make more, Times that by the number of days 115 means he could have farmed 11,592 Bauxite even if you take away the 3 days max it takes to get to 5 cities with 500 infra that's still 112 X 101 = 11,312 Bauxite he could have made, and you are crying because he is selling 7000 ?, really dude please give up you are only making yourself look like a tool trying to hide the fact you have farms as no one can be this dumb really.

I have explained to Alex (Admin) made sure myself, my wife and my friend all follow the rules, how we trade is between us and only us, maybe i should ask how many times have you taken a paypal payment for the resources you claim to "donate" can you please explain?
See now I have no proof that you are or are not taking paypal payment for resources, but as you make claims based on nothing why cant we all?
As for my growth and city count, clearly I've been in better alliances and have better friends who help me grow, maybe you should work on gain friends and being a better alliance member than wasting your time chasing what you feel is a fading spot light ?

So if an alliance has a load of low level nations dragging the colour sphere down is war the only option to remove them or you going to enable a voting system for a senate/colour gov giving them the powers to kick someone from said colour

Still think once a nation is inactive more than 14 days the alliance should no longer be able to tax said nation

Well i invest in my nation, so when a war comes along I'm not left hanging on waiting for a peace agreement, investing in a bank on pnw that is well known for having private banks steal money and blame others and such simply is not worth the risk

Did this not happen before then Seb and Co blamed it on someone who to this day states he had no part in the missing Cash, now its happened again this what the third time.
Alex you really should code a bank in to the game letting people deposit for a set interest rate, and letting other borrow money at a higher rate.
These private (Pirate) banks are doing a better job of o stealing your cash than Arrgh
Small Edit, would like to say people i know in AIM are upstanding, and its a shame they get marked with the stain of that bank, after all this is not the first or the last time Emerald Bank, loses money-
