https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=135129 18 citiesThese are the nations that profited the most. Some of these got billions, some others less. Some, maybe I missed.
Majority of Nova nations are lowbies at like 10 cities. A lot of them are from the Federation, probably as clueless as the Nova lowbies. They're all gonna be part of this witch hunt for months because of these people that I linked above. And because Sheepy is not willing to uphold the 2015 precedent and ban directly responsible persons, and reset the rest to 10 cities at the very least.

I would like to point out that the money and resources being removed from the game here are not insignificant. Here's a quick spreadsheet showing just that:
I understand that everyone is not satisfied with the amount of punishment I've metered out thus far, and I am considering removing cities built by Nova Riata government members because you're right, that can't be "fixed" by you all (the players.) However, deleting all of these resources is still an enormously significant punishment for the entirety of the alliance.
The cities they've cheated are huge, an average alliance takes like 2 years to reach that kind of growth level. As someone pointed out on Discord, they went from a sub-top 50 micro to a top 10 alliance in 3 months, and this exploit was a big, if not 90% part of that. It's not fair to the rest of the game.
They're also gonna make a lot of that money back very quick if they keep those.
Also while on topic, you can throw that credits survey out the door, because the seeming lack of credits on the market are caused by Nova buying them all up. They have so much cash they don't know what to do with it but store some of it in credits.

So, conclusion here is some resources get deleted but cities worth dozens of billions of dollars that were gained directly by this exploit and people directly tied to the exploit walk like nothing happened lmfao gg

lmfao I can't believe people are equating importance of private banking and the much needed fix for a resource sink on this game (whatever it ends up being). Oh noes, you won't have 100b but 90b invested in your bank because part of whale money will be focused on buying XYZ resources, the horror of it, really.

Aside from putting in major changes (so, better ideas, such as the one Sketchy suggested), introducing resource cost for infrastructure seems far less retroactive/controversial, and far more impactful than adding resource cost to cities. It's a consistent and constant resource sink during peacetime, easy to implement, adapt and react to. It affects the whole game, not just higher tier rare cost. Higher you go, more it should cost, obviously. I'll leave the actual math of costs to nerds, but the basic idea is sound.
Infrastructure burns, cities do not. Building it is a recurring theme, thus a recurring cost.

But hey we aren't supposed to talk about that.
Hey it's just another non-ally peripheral tie of not-our-sphere, okay

Your alliance already has the ability to impose a tax rate on you without your consent, are we really making trading on foreign markets the hallmark of rugged individualism?

It’s wrong though. You have alliances counted twice and periphery alliances that aren’t part of the sphere.
Okay, fair. Somehow UPN/Acadia have doubled (imagining the horror of two pigeons right now..)
Fixed. Even if we ignore tier 1-9, you're still the biggest sphere in the game. -

Yeah and it indicates that 538 of BK and Co's supposed 986 nations are in the 1 to 14 range, which I imagine aren't a huge threat to the 58 (out of 270) 24 city and up guys KTsphere has managed to amass. Unless you're seriously making the argument that three 5 nations are the equivalent of one 36 city nation, citing player numbers as the primary metric for sphere strength doesn't tell you all that much. Thanks for coming out though.
I did not equate small nations with big nations. There is no way those can be measured or equated between. I have purposely posted a comparison of nations tier by tier.. so it can be seen what nations can be compared. 1-9 tier is quite inconsequential, yes, but as we go up, it gets more serious. The war meta is mostly decided in 15-25 city range, or that's at least what people say nowadays.

There is a very clear narrative here. Posting statistics with no context and commenting on the "dynamic" nature is pushing a narrative.
So, it's dynamic, you'd say?
QuoteIs that not the very definition of a sphere? Which of the alliances I wrote down under your column would you say are not your sphere? 90% is either directly tied to you, or an M partner of your M ally.
Yes, no, maybe? I'm wrong? I'm not wrong?

Weak trolling, really.
Both the graph and the table I posted clearly show tiers, and that was the point of my post.
Thank you for avoiding my questions, by the way. I've asked them in good faith, I have no narrative to push here, but you chose to ignore them and instead start a weak troll campaign. I'll take it as no objections to the alliances I listed in sphere tierings, which only further backups the numbers I've posted on the previous page.Congratulations on new treaties and good luck with your new allies.
