  1. B'alam clutched the furs, forcing a smile, trying to not seem disappointed as that was clearly not the intent behind the gift. Still, he could not help but feel let down considering the sacred waters he had received as his last gift... While it was true, compared to the others in the UMS, his people did have a fine hunting tradition, it was not nearly as integral apart of Maya culture as it was to the Pords.

The facade maintained, he bowed yet again to the high hunters. "Thank you for this symbolic gift, let our peoples bonds grow stronger with continue friendship and respect."
As the Prince of Tonina began to turn away, the smell of smoke and alcohol hit his senses... He turned his gaze towards the Franks, almost instinctively, whom seemed to have already started the feast on their own. 'debauched animals' He thought to themselves, reminded of their entire delegations drunken stupor during the UMS summit.

With a level head, he made his was to a seat, as far away as possible from the Franks. He wondered if another Frankish Woman would attempt to assassinate someone at the proceedings again. Regardless, he would not be accepting a dance from any Franks till the end of days.

  2. Orbis, PW-1 Verse, Stage One of Colonization

The night sky of Orbis was filled with bright flashes of crimson, which rippled across the heavens like a maelstorm of bleeding electricity, as the fleet of the Uinicob Acalli Cemantihuitzli announced the arival of the Maya. Ajaw(king), Tuun Kʻabʻ Hix, of the Nakbe had been tasked with colonizing the planet identified by Pordish Allies.

Though the accompanying Nohoch Chempan of Nakbe was a modest one compared to other Systems of the Maya, a craft of a mere One Thousand One Hundred Kilometers in length, Four Hundred in Height, and Five Hundred  in Width, it was none the less a work of art. Decorated in elaborate carvings, glyphs, and sacred symbols across the entire hull it was a sight to behold.

In orbit above the North American Continent, Tuun Kʻabʻ Hix scanned the planet and quickly identified the "major" powers below.
Looking upon the lands between San Florence, and Britannia, which were comprised of minor powers, the King of the Nakbe had chosen his target.

The fleet unleashed three Base Javelins, each over 300 Kilometers in Length, and 66 in Diameter, and each containing 5,000,000 Warriors and their families. The base javelins slowly impact the planet, and burrow into the crust, creating underground fortified cities to act as FOBs.
Once established, the Maya Warriors enter their underground transports, and ships, and unleash themselves upon the surface, uprooting and displacing the local populace towards the Borders of Britannia and San Florence.

  3. The Icelandic Night Sky was filled with a brilliant pale blue flash, which rippled out like whipping electricity into the void of space, signaling the arrival of the Nohoch Chempan of Tonina. The impressive craft, roughly two thousand kilometers long, was nothing short of a masterpiece in artistry. Adorned with glyphs, and statues, and fantastic lines of craftsmanship, a Nine Hundred Kilometer high statue of their founding god protruded waste up from the ship.

While the Maya already had a foothold on the planet, considering that the Pords had called a summit, K'inich B'alam had found himself called upon to negotiations. A task he grudgingly agreed to. He could not help but be reminded of the last summit, and the repeated insulting behavior of the Observer Maclome Shore.. How it did not lead to a war surely must have been some divine intervention. B'alam himself had resorted to striking the Franconian attendee at the time, after the beast of a sapient creature had drawn his sword against Malcome Shore.

B'alam let out a deep sigh, as he looked down at the planet from orbit. 'Hopefully this summit will progress much more smoothly.' He thought to himself as he boarded the shuttle and departed. He was deep in thought as the craft entered atmosphere and reached its destination with an ease that might have puzzled the natives of the planet. It was not until the craft slowed to a halt that the Prince of Tonina regained his senses. "At last." He said, as the doors opened and he was hit with... The relatively tropical like breeze of Iceland.

Though to the eye, B'alam seemed rather under dressed for the local, wearing little more than a loincloth, cloak, and bedecked in precious stones, jewels, and metals. But the atmospheric shielding was kicked on and, much to B'alam's discomfort, calibrated to the climate he had experience on Nalydya. He felt as though he was on fire, as he quickly, yet calmly, adjusted the calibrations to a more pleasant temperature. Compared to the planet of Nalydya, where the "Oceans" only existed due to some mixture of absurdly high salt content, and Jlokhemit's will. That absurdly cold place, where the local wildlife had antifreeze in their blood. Yes, compared to that frozen land, this place of "ice"land was obscenely tolerable.

Gathering his mind, the Prince entered the Villa and greeted his hosts with a light bow. "Chadengrazhni, High Hunters. I've brought to your people a collection of Jade Skull Whistles as a gift." One for each High Hunter in attendance, each an individualized masterpiece.

(Map-wise, you're limited to a maximum of 50 provinces. If you go higher than that, I'll personally adjust it down until it's at 50, or ask you to re-do your own example until it fits within the 50 province limit. Note that expansion is allowed, but at a maximum of two provinces per month as to be as realistic as possible. This rule applies to nations under 50 provinces as well. Provinces are unable to be moved from one location to another. Gifted land is also capped at two provinces per month. Land gained by a nation as a result of war can be more than this.)

(You are required to post at least once a month in the national affairs subforum to remain active. This means creating your own topic, not just commenting in someone else's posts. Inactive nations will be removed from the map.)
