  1. "Your soul?" He rhetorically asked in reply. A slight chuckle heard in his response. "It already belongs to me. In the end, you too will perish." He said, drawing even closer. "All but I perish." He stopped now right in front of her. There was nowhere to go for her, nowhere to turn. "Your brave face, is a facade.. You were drawn from the ink of a !@#$, and you put on her mask. But you wear it wrong... This will save you."

Stepped back a bit, casually moving about as he took a seat in front of the fire. "Come kiss my feet, little goddess. Know your place." He said, with authority, as he turned his gaze back to her. "I am Miquiztli, and I am the one who determines when and where you end." With that statement he turned his gaze to the fire. His eyes glossing over for a moment before remarking. "I am not as merciful as Evermore."

  2. "I... I am the End child." He said, with a defeated sigh, as if he grew tired of having to say such things. "Little Dretviri, you're a long way from home. Your people know not of me?" He asked, his gaze locking onto the terrified young goddess. "There are many things beyond your comprehension, little one, I am the least of such things."

As he finished words, the book he was holding began to rot, and degrade, crumbling and dissolving, until it fell threw his hand like ash as it fell towards the ground. He took a few steps towards the confused woman, before stopping. "I am here, for my tribute." He said once again, this time more authoritative in tone. His voice was still hushed, and collected. His posture relaxed, perhaps too relaxed.

Once again Danica heard a scream, this time a man, his soul being ripped apart and put back together like it was a sick game. But the figure's gaze did not change, his posture did not change, it was as if he was unaware or uncaring of the noise.

  3. 'Here we go again' K'inich B'alam thought to himself, as he made his descent to the summit. He did not arrive in the Nohoch Chempan as before, but instead took his personal craft to make the trip to Uranus's Oberon. He was not anticipating this summit. Largely because he himself had little concern with the Blockade, which gave him no trouble during his arrival on Mars to meet with Nakbe leadership, but there was another concern... That blasted cold!

The Prince of the Tonina looked down at his hand, recalling the moment he left it to the bitter cold to stop the bleeding during the last summit. He would holding fragile things like glass this time around, as the chilling -300c temperatures of the moon were not something he wished to experience again. One episode of exposure would be enough to satisfy his curiosity, not need for a second round if it could be avoided.

He was deep in thought, when the craft landed, and the doors opened, unleashing the bitter cold onto his form. His Environmental Shielding, once again, was a life saver. Despite the protection, though, the second he had stepped out of the he was hit by the relentless winds of the planet. He thought it was lucky that today was not an abnormally windy day, as he dug his feet into the ground. The wind was chilling him to the bone, despite his shielding.

The environment was intense. Indeed, were it nought for his Oxygen Generation Implants in his lungs, he would be unable to breath at all right now. It was insane that his shielding, despite being made to account for the winds, was still not enough to allow him to feel any sense of warmth. 'I best fund research and deveopment into environmental protection, if the Pords are to keep hosting summits.' He thought to himself, as he finally made refuge inside the grand Pordish Architecture.

Finally reaching inside the place of meeting, the blue hues of the light and water filled the chambers, he finally could take a moment to relax his tight muscles. The physical struggle was over, though a mental one may indeed be on the way. He looked about the room, as he approached Admiral nam-Kalzhak, an irritated look on his face. Looking to the Admiral, he spoke in perfect Pordish. "Admiral nam-Kalzhak, it is an Honour. I am the Prince of Tonina, K'inich B'alam the Thirteenth, as a well informed man such as yourself likely knows..." He couldn't help but let out a sigh, as he looked about the empty chambers. "The natives are slow, I took a personal transport, and walked, yet I am the first to arrive." He said, aloud, shaking his head as he recalled the meeting with Chernigov that transpired not too long ago.

He turned his gaze to the Admiral, taking in his greeting and words, before bringing forth a parcel. Opening it up, he pulled out his gift to the Pords for this meeting. A Red and White Jade Mask, which bore the face of the God of War, and was inscribed with prayer glyphs. "Our gift, these masks are crafted by the priesthood, and are highly coveted for their bringing of fortune in battle and war. The one who wears it, rarely loses his life without posing an extreme challenge... Even if the man was not a great warrior."

  4. As her thought came to a close, the darkness shrouding the room seemed to retreat, allowing the fire to shine its light across the room. For but a moment, it seemed that Danica could relax... "I'm no illusion, child." The same voice broke the silence, this time however it came from a specific direction. Danica turned to see the dimly lit figure of a man, clearly Mesoamerican racially and culturally, propped up against her bookshelf, casually skimming through a book titled "The Death of the Gods".

The stood there, in traditional Mesoamerican attire, but his entire body was covered in ash like body paint. Even looking right at him she could sense nothing, trying harder she could sense a nothing that overlapped with the reality. It was cold, distant, devouring, and all too familiar to the presence that came after the scream. "Little Goddess, I've come for my tribute."

  5. As Danica sat in her study, dwelling in thought, all was calm... Until a light chuckling echoed out from the darkness. Upon it's sounding, all of the lights in the house dimmed, with only the natural light of the fireplace shining true, despite having not been lit by Danica herself. But it did not shine as it normally would, indeed it seemed as if the light emanating was being eaten by the darkness in the room.

The voice spoke. It's tone was low, but booming and menacing, it spoke in a language she could not understand before speaking in Kavisithiiri. "Do you... know your place?" The voice inquired, seeming to echo from all around. The darkness itself felt as if it was surrounding all, with the only refuge being directly in front of the fireplace. "Have you learned your place this time?"

At that moment, the screaming voice of a woman entered her mind. It was the being known as Brianna Gennett-Hawk, a being she couldn't possibly know of. None the less the screams filled her mind, as she felt the fear and madness that came before... Silence... The deepest, darkest, and coldest silence.

  6. Pocket Universe 2, Research and Development Station

In the vast black nothingness, a lone station dwelled in eternal darkness. It was one of the myriad of Research Stations in the Mayan Confederation, and it was located in one of the handful of Pocket Universes constructed by the Maya since their entry into the UMS.
Such stations were amongst the most closely guarded secret, with few even knowing of their existence. Indeed, those on such stations were officially Dead or Missing Persons. Loyal men and women, who sacrificed their personal lives and basic rights for the sake of their people.
A day would come when their lives too, were sacrificed to the gods of forbidden knowledge... But for now, they toiled away at their work.

Of considerable interest was the newly discovered PSP-9, a Subatomic Particle originating from the Fourth Dimension with Phasic Properties. Though phasic qualities were common for particle from the Fourth, and Higher dimensions, that was not what deemed the particle noteworthy. No... What made this particle special was its Space-Time Anchoring properties when in proximity of other PSP-9 particles. It was astonishing, and aside from it perhaps being the key to how 4+ dimensional physics can exist stably, the theoretical application to Third Dimensional Atomic Structure could potentially throw the known reality on it's head once again...

"Sir, this is amazing!" Gleefully cried a female researcher, to her superior. The elder man, one of the few on station, was one of the very few Mayan Men who managed to see their 900th birthday. Now twenty two thousand years old, he was one of the oldest Maya in the confederation. The much younger researcher moved aside with a smile, as the man took a look. "You-" He couldn't help but pause as he took in the sight before turning to her. "You were right Citlali. All along." He turned back to the results in amazement... She'd actually done it. Citlali had successfully introduced PSP-9 to the center of atoms, and linked them together...

Elder Aapo smiled warmly as he continued. "Now to test your theories." He said, taking the sample and inserting it into the testing chamber. The whole team gathered around in excitement. Now was the time to validate, or discredit Years of theories and Months of hard work... The small gram of PSP-9 enhanced water showed promise during its transition to the chamber, as it was able to be held by tweezers without spilling. Now inside the Chamber the water was bombarded with a chaotically shifting array of pressures. The team watched and cheered as time and time again, the H2O atomic structures repeatedly moved back into spacial orientation with one another, continually reforming into the original spherical shape... And it maintained cohesion under such violent pressure.

Elder Aapo turned to his team with the biggest smile any of them had seen on the old man. "Contact Ajaw B'aaknal Chaak, we have succeeded. PSP-9 shall from this day forward be known as the Citlali Particle."

  7. The Prince of the Tonina was taken aback by the apology, unfortunately these new "terms" were unacceptable. He inhaled sharply, finding calm, before exhaling and resuming discussion. This time in the common tongue. "Those terms are unacceptable. Your slight towards Tonina had a deep impact. There are those in the Maya Confederation who will look at our System-State as unfit to rule if things are left so... Light."

He took a step back, turning to Danica. "Things will not be resolved this simply. Tonina must save face to avoid another Civil War." He said, turning his gaze back to Alexei. "This means: Any agreement we come to must give the implication that Tonina is seen as the dominant force. Non-aggression pacts are a sign of weakness, and we cannot make alliances with those whom have insulted us... Additionally, insulting our sacred practices is sacrilegious.
You will hand us over One Thousand Sacrifices, as an apology for affronting us. Whether you condone it matters not, that is the only way for this to resolve without bloodshed."

  8. K'inich B'alam's face grew to a fury Danica knew all too well, she had seen it before, when the Franconian Royal had pulled a weapon and boasted his intent kill Malcom Shore during the UMS summit. At that time B'alam had walked up to the out of line Royal, turned him around, and slapped him across the face with his dead hand... "Avoid casualties?" He inquired, rhetorically. His voice quite, but shaking with fury.

In an explosion  of rage, he lifted from his seat, and slammed his fist on the desk with such force it cracked. "As your peoples women and children screamed, you were out looking to remain in flesh for all time!?!" He screamed. He was shaking with anger as looked at the voice. He started walking around the table, and began to pace in front of the Chernigov delegation before continuing his rant, this time in his native tongue. Though they could not understand the words under normal circumstance, B'alam's anger had awakened his soul, and all those in the room could feel the meaning of his spoken word in their very souls.

"You DARE to speak to me of lost souls!? When you sit in luxury as your people die!?" At this time he looked, not at the voice, but those accompanying him. "Do you dogs so willingly bow to a man who would not die for your family? Who would not die for anything!?" His fist was clinched so hard that one of his knuckles had dislocated. "You animals! Tributaries? Your people would be lucky to be our slaves! If our slaves were massacred like  termites in a wooden house, we would rise up! We would take up arms! We would throw away our lives for those who belong to us!!! But you... But you animals sit by, as you hear their screams, unmoving, and not desiring an inch of revenge!? SUBHUMAN SCUM!"

The prince turned away from the delegation and roared with anger, like the Jaguar of his namesake, before turning around to continue. "Fine, let's say you really wished to see fewer of your people die. Let's accept that lie for the sake of argument!" At this moment his gazed to the Voice, no, not the Voice, but Alexei himself. Who could no doubt feel B'alam's spiritual gaze on him. "You do so, by insulting and enraging another power? After being to easily bested by those, those... Those primitives!?" He stepped forward, pointing at Alexei through the "Voice", and decried: "Your Ego knows no bounds. So blinded by your desire to live, you cannot see the realities of life beyond your own ego!! Did you not consider how many would die if you stepped on the tail of a Jaguar!?"

  9. B'alam relaxed his posture, sitting back in his chair before making a brief clarification. "Tonina made the offer. Not the confederation... We don't share tributaries." He said, nonchalantly. "That said, you are correct about the rest."

  10. B'alam took in the exchange, and the smiles, and was sickened. "Let us speak freely. "Diplomatic Courtesy" is rather deceiving..." The words were harsh, and delivered matter of fact. He could feel an unpleased vibe from amongst the Chernigov representatives, and made no attempts to hide his own. "I have come here today as a courtesy to a fellow UMS member, but that does not erase the dishonorable slight we received from the Ajaw of Chernigov." There was a brief pause as he eyed the room. "Whom has deemed this matter too beneath him to attend, it seems. Delivering further insults."

B'alam was leaning forward in his seat now, both his elbows on the table. His right hand was balled into a fist, which he tightened the grip on as a means to relieve frustration, while the other hand clasped over it, covering it from the view of others slightly. He rest his chin upon his hands, and inhaled deeply before sighing. "Such political embarrassments have lasting consequences among the Maya Confederation... Quite honestly, I doubt that the delegation sent here has the authority to meet any demands that would be proper compensation." He said, now staring down 'The Voice', before continuing. "Was your master too scared of a lone man from the stars to attend?" He asked, dismissively, in a biting tone.

  11. Orbis Prime Orbit, above Kressnia Lands

In  a brilliant while flash of white light, which whipped and rippled out like water ebbed by electrical spasms, the mighty Nohoch Chempan of Tonina made its appearance. The craft was likely among the largest, if not the largest, that native Orbisians had seen in their skies. Two Thousand Eight Hundred Kilometers long, Six Hundred Km High, and Five Hundred Km wide, with a 900 Km high waist-up statue of of the Toninan Founder Deity rising from the ship as if it were its canoe. The entire ship was, in Maya fashion, ornately crafted, like a work of art, adorned with Glyphs and Sacred Imagery.

The Behemoth of a ship floated in space as the large Statue moved it's sheild up to face the planet, while withdrawing it's war axe, displaying a combat ready posture to serve as a reminder to Chernigov that these talks would not lead to peace easy... The insult delivered was grave, and there was little room in Maya Politics for Tonina to let the offenders off with a simple chiding.

Finally, B'alam departed the ship in his own personal craft, and headed down to the summit completely unattended. Exiting into Kressnian lands, any locals that had gathered to see the arrivals would have been greeted by what would surely have been a strange sight to them. The Prince exited his ship in little more than a loincloth,  and adorned in stone and precious metal jewelry. Of particular note was an assortment of artistic precious stones, gems, and metals of the Princes "Necklace", which furrowed out to cover the shoulders and upper chest.

K'inich B'alam gave a look to the crowd, his face not conveying much emotion, as the youthful looking two hundred something year old royal glanced at the intermingled natives with disinterest. With is a heavy nostril sigh, he turned his gaze away and made his way to the Summit. It was not a long walk by Toninan Standards, whom spent most of their terrestrial travel time walking, but still long enough that the prince was thoroughly insulted that he was the first to arrive.

Entering the room where the summit would take place, he gave Danica a look that conveyed a particularly charming, yet dismissive, "this will likely lead nowhere" vibe. The moment was brief, and the Prince went to his seat as he looked around the room. The decorations were strange, though not nearly as... "Exotic" as Pordish Decor.
All in all it looked not too dissimilar from other interiors he had seen in his study of the Sapient Local Fauna of the Area. This being his first time in Kressnian holdings, he could not tell if the style was normalized for the natives, or if Kressnian Architecture was just shockingly similar. He allowed to himself to be lost in this thought for some time before finally speaking under his breath. "I walked, and yet the savages still have not arrived."

B'alam was not as prejudice to... Lesser powers, as many other Maya were. Though he always adopted the tappings of a Bigot when lesser lifeforms showed their inferiority openly. Such as the foolish Observer Shore of the UMS Formation summit, and the fool that sent the Chernigov Reply to Tonina's most generous offer.
That animal had pissed on a Jaguar after being mauled by a dog B'alam thought to himself, recalling the response, making no efforts to hide his thoughts from any telepathic entities in the room.

  12. Reply to Oncaro Peace Summit Proposal

After deliberation, Tonina has decided to attend the summit. Prince K'inich B'alam will personally be in attendance, with no guard detail, though he will be armed. Only one ship will be brought, the Nohoch Chempan of Tonina, and it will remain in orbit for duration of the summit. This has not been an easy decision to make for the Tonina, and we make no promises to a peaceful resolution.

  13. Nohoch Chempan of Tonina, Sol system, PW-1

B'alam stood, fuming. "We offered the animals a way to gain revenge, and they spit in our face as if we have made demands... It's as if a starving homeless man was offered food and shelter, asked only to aid around the house in return. And the man spat in the food, and shat on the lawn, before declaring, loudly, that he would not be taken alive." The Prince stood there, in awe. It was not since the moronic actions of Malcome Shore that he had seen a foreign power be so irrational, and delusional.

After standing for a long time, in stunned silence. He finally spoke again. "Send word to the Nakbe that their review will be delayed. We will return to NS-1 and prepare for our response to the Local Fauna." He declared, irritation radiating from his voice, as the Nohoch Chempan disappeared from the universe in a crimson flash.

OOC: This will lead into another thread, will be posted tomorrow.

  14. Toninan Broadcast, Frequency: Open Transmission

In a relatively short period of time, a war has begun and seems to be concluding on Mars. The Casus Beli for said war has not been made apparent, and resulted in a large coalition attacking a single colonial force of Chenigov. This seemingly unprovoked, and knowingly unexplained, act of aggression on Mars has caused tensions to rise in the Maya Confederation.

Tonina's review of the System State of Nakbe's inaction, and inattention, in this matter has lead to a questioning of Nakbe leadership.
In Response, Prince K'inich B'alam the Thirteenth of Tonina will be arriving in System to investigate allegations of ineptitude. With the Prince, the Nohoch Chempan of Tonina will be arriving in System.

Toninan Broadcast, Frequency: UMS Members, and Chernigov Only

This is K'inich B'alam, Prince of Tonina. I am opening a channel of discussion to Chenigov about the current disgrace of their nation at the hands of the French Coalition. Tonina is offering the people of Chernigov a chance at vengeance for the assault on their people.
If Chernigov is willing to become a Tributary State of the System-State of Tonina, war shall be levied against participating nations of the Coalition by Tonina. During the course of the war, Chernigov will not be obligated to participate.

The conditions of a Chernigov Tributary Pact will be as follows:
    1) Every Martian Year, Chernigov will deliver 1000 men to be used as Sacrifice. They need not be Chernigov Citizens, they may be POWs, or bought Slaves, however they must have lived a true life. (Rapid Growth Clones, do not count.)
    2) Chernigov will provide 1/20th portion of all Mineral Resources to Tonina.
    3) Chernigov will not be expected to engage in offensive wars taken by Tonina, the Maya Confederation, or the UMS, but will be required to lend aid during defensive wars in the PW-1 Verse.
    4) Chernigov will not be allowed to declare war without consulting with Tonina.

  16. Isn't Organic RP supposes to more realistic and to help, if attacking nations without consent is your view, then I am hands down not up for change, but hey if your buddy wants a way HOW ABOUT HE DEVELOPS HIS INGAME NATION, then maybe i can show him a lesson or two

And for realism it is obious this doesnt follow any realism, hell there are 5 orbtial space stations did he destory them, or did he defeat an entire armed forces plus 4 other armies

I dont know how one can do that, you complain about over night tech, how about over night destroying 5 armies, and an entire nation!

EDITED: As Dylan pointed out, the damage was assumed by you.

That said, I would basically call this post as breaking the no GMing and Respectable Behavior rules of Organic RP.

Also: It seems that, from what we can gather, the Frankish RPer has not been keeping up with the way things work on this forum, or the Organic RP ruleset.

  17. So I am gonna stop you right there

A- no consent from any parties

b- Russia doesn't have any troops there, like maybe 500 or so so like no

C- how do you destroy an entire nation in less than 23 mins plus 3 nations with technology on par and on your level of not better within the same time frame

D- not to mention the 100000 rules you broke

E- if you call that organic RP then take it and shove it up your rear end because I don't want to hear it

This is not the kind of RP we're advocating, he's driving us insane too.

  18. Across Russian Border

The Russian-Frankian conflict would begin with sudden blasts from below the earth as ST-88 fighting craft emerged from beneath the earth. As they rose they began hitting the Russian positions with long bursts from Hypergridinfusion Projectors and rapid cannonade of skaatershot meant to rip apart machines and flesh. As the Russians, certainly stunned by such an attack, made their response the ST-88s submerged. What followed in their wake was the loud shriek of the Marleeni host; made only hungered by the smell of freshly spilled blood. The Russians would look on in horror as the Marleeni emerged in swarms and began descending upon the Russians as a cat pouncing on a mass.

While all this was going on, the 48th and 83rd Shock Armies delivered the main blow; unleashing a hellstorm of an artillery bombardment directed against the now battered Russians who were now set upon by an enemy who did not extend mercy to prey. The craft of the Imperial Engineers advanced head of the main armored spear head; aiming to clear a path for the armored vehicles as Imperial Protocol dictated. Metic Legionnaires fired at any Russians that dared bothered the Engineers in their meticulous task, and bore on them with fierce cannonades from their DKA-97B Kinetic Rifles which would rip apart man and armor as a hot knife cuts through snow.

Above, the 345th and 995th Squadrons began escorting the Assault Craft of the FLI to designated landing zones behind enemy lines; some of the Killercraft would break off to pursue other objections. Namely, the obliteration of the Russian Air Force and the smashing of Russian tank columns that would certainly be attempting to reach the front. Rapid autocannon fire and a hail of DK-32 Burrower munitions would be the standard response as both were cheap and expendable against a native contingent. The latter would emerge upon their targets from the very ground and detonate with a powerful blast as negamatter mixed with matter.

    Above Orbis

The ships of the 89th Dread Armada began a saturated EMT of every major Russian city to disrupt communications and cause general havoc amongst the Russian populace based on their technological level. With news that other natives who possessed spacefaring powers had decided to conspire with the Russian government the Frankians began targeting their vessels and unleashing a devastating cannonade from 1,600km Mass Accelerated Cannons that had not been fired in anger for ages. Hypergridinfusion projectors and a torrent of DSK-32 missiles would belch forth from the Neustrian Dreadnoughts in an ever growing ferocity at UDAC warships.

OOC: If you don't want a severe beating, edit the Bolded part out.

I have half a mind to shoot at you for that insanity if it wouldn't be so OOC.

The sheer gravitational force of firing one of those so close to the planet basically means you're declaring war on everything on the planet, us included, because of the extreme damage it would do just being fired so fast and so close.

  19. meh. I beg to differ.

You are coming to a community that is already established with their RP style and method. Sure, it could use some changes - thats why left it about a week ago. Before that I was a daily poster and contributor to the actual RP community, hell I created UDAC and its still being run today.

The problem is, you brought your people here and you're pushing for these changes in a very unproductive way. No matter what any of the current RP'ers say to your words is totally attacked by the rest of your group and the same things are being said over and over. The repetition in your words and your push for change isn't actually how you make change. Four, the moderator, is the best way to go about change and actually construtively speaking to the established community.

I don't blame the community for not bending to what you want to happen - you're going on like a bunch of retards trying to hump a doorknob - chill out. use the OOC forum to establish what changes you want and allow the moderation team and the RP Team to actually configure those changes to work correctly without shocking the already established system.

    #don'tbeagoddamndoucheaboutit

We're not pushing for changes to the main forum, but the creation of a subsection... Something that we've repeated, multiple times, yet still some people don't understand that.

I'm sorry for the repetition, but it seems like people aren't actually reading what we're saying.

  20. Most of us use Discord to plan

Ex. the EU, UDAC, and ESA all have discord chats. And the UDAC Lobby is where we plan most of our stuff,

When it comes to planning, we usually use FB group chat. But we don't RP on FB chat, just talk and stuff.

I recently left RP because it was turning to shit...but acting like an ass isn't really going to cause drastic changes.

/me points to all the new guys.

Quit the piss poor attitudes and actually work with the already established RP Community here to create positive changes. You can add as many people as you want to this already established community boasting that you come from a "better" form of RP on a different site...but the end result is, you're looking like an ass.

Honestly, I'm the only one that could even be slightly implicated to be an ass out of us.

Also, as stated, the one problem with NS is that it's isolated. We came here to meet new people. We're still RPing on NS too, but a colonization story is fun, plus we've already met some decent RPers here to engage with. Which was basically the point. Find a new area to stimulate new RP.

We've been doing this stuff so long, we've done about all we can in the NS verse.. No crime in looking for something new to do. I certainly don't think doing so, is being douchey.

  21. I understand where you're coming from, so there is absolutely no reason to continue to repeat yourself.

Moderation and Rules will always remain - so you can wipe that one off your plate. I am one of the most lenient moderators, especially for RP. I personally look over this forum on my own to ensure it continues to engage the RP Community.

You are free to continue to post your massive posts with the same information just rearranged, but what it boils down to is this is how the RP of this community is run. Sure, it could be different where you are from - but this is how we do things. We get a long, fun is had, and it is an enjoyable place to be...we aren't going to change simply because you're saying your way is better. Sorry.

As far as the changes, we will discuss them with the community like we do - and we will implement those changes together.

    Thank You.

Apologies, I was merely attempting to address your points and clear up any confusion.

  22. Crystal City, Rogue Forces

Transports and Escorts unleash furious streams of Liquid Gold and Silver upon the incoming fire. The streams whipped violently, creating a web of defensive fire, as the forces attempt to deny as much incoming fire as possible. The MDU's assembled just in time, Crystal City is littered with Repulsion Fields, Mictlan Shielding, Atmospheric Conditioning, as the force links arrays. Many of the incoming explosive munitions were taken down well before contact, their explosive force and derbies shot violently outward by the repulsion fields.Though the defenses were holding strong, the Maya were caught with many of their troops not fully assembled and outside Crystal City.

The forces unlucky enough to not have joined, were caught in a hellstorm of enemy fire, suffering high casualty margins. Though under the surface of the earth, they were much higher than usual, as they had begun to make assent to Crystal City. Many craft mere dozens of meters from the surface, the earth shattering firepower cause havoc among the straggling craft, rending dozens inoperable, or outright destroyed, and hundreds in critical state as they made desperate haste to dive away from the barrage.

Inside the city, the bombardment was wreaking havoc, sending warriors flying about from the explosions, and impacts. Luckily for the Warriors, the shockwaves of explosives that had managed to break through the defenses were mitigated by the myriad of defenses, and mostly served to scatter formations... The heavy, solid slugs, however, wreaked intense destruction where they managed to impact with proper force. Causing many warriors too close to the impact zones to die inside their Armour, despite the array holding up, turning them into something resembling potted meat inside of their Power Armoured Shell, while those hit dead on were vaporized by the impact. While the enemy Arrays were largely weakened, especially with the Mictlan Beams and Shields rending the incoming fire as sheer metal and kinetic force. While the repulsion fields did their work, the continuous pressure of the array caused it to do the most damage, with many Repulsion Turrets being allocated to desperately redirect fire to minimalize casualties.

Many of the formations were in disarray as the Mri Mechanized Forces advanced. The infantry took to ground as the incoming fire rained. Luckily the Mri forces had not yet crossed the Repulsion fields, heavily mitigating the speed of the incoming fire, and throwing off it's aim. More concentrated Repulsion Turrets even managed to push away some of the incoming fire. Those manning the Repulsion Turrets prioritized heavier munitions.
Not satisfied with merely taking a beating, the forces returned fire in kind. Local Escorts, and Transports that could be spared formed up and unleashed Streams of Gold and Silver, as well as fierce beams of Mictlan Energy, while Firing Anti-Heavy Armor Kinetic Javelins at the Mri Tanks, and Mechs. The infantry dug in, and unleashed Mictlan beams from their Maces, spraying down advancing enemy formations, while others unleashed Anti-Light Armor Kinetic Javelins from their Atlatl's. All of the outgoing munitions sped up drastically as they hit the repulsion fields, which ushered them forward with force, as troops in Crystal City moved to reinforce the troops fighting in the direction of the Mri advance.
So far, the exchange with the approaching Mri was in the Nakbe's favor, but time was of the essence. The artillery pieces redirected their fire towards the advancing Mri, hoping to do as much destruction as possible before the distance could be closed.

    Texas Border, Mayan Front

Having successfully assembled, the Mayan Forces rather handedly dealt with the incoming Mri missile fire with their abundance of counters and defenses. Rather insulted by the gall of the Mri's lackluster attack upon the Front, and seeing their brothers in Crystal City in duress, the front opened fire with the weight of thousands of artillery pieces at the mobilizing Pordish Forces. In addition, the front launched intense barrages of Kinetic Javelins, and Metal Streams at Mri and Pordish air assets.

Behind the lines, forces from the East, and West, began to group up and made preparations for the formation of a secondary front. But all was not well, the Nakbe warriors were growing impatient at the defensive strategy of Kabil Ix. Many saw the rogues in Crystal City as the height of the Maya Warrior Ideal, as restlessness set in with the entrenched forces along the front.
