  1. Try four hours and fifteen minutes. Then you can tell some other sucker to read the fine print. That won't bring back the $100 I recently wasted on this crappy game, of course, but at least it guarantees I'll never waste any more.
  2. Thank you for your assistance. Sorry, I forgot to look there; I figured it would be under account. And it sucked anyway... You can't delete your nation because you're involved in at least one active offensive war. Please wait for the war(s) to end before you delete.
  3. So in other words, "your nation can neither attack nor be attacked" is BS. And as usual, I'm treated rudely when I come here and ask a perfectly reasonable question. Why do I bother donating to this game?
  4. For days, I've been in vacation mode... so why am I still getting attacked? When I tried to launch a counterstrike, it says that I can neither attack nor be attacked, even though I just got hit again.
  5. I just see the list page; can't read the messages.
  6. When I try to send a message, nothing comes up.
  7. I have won 5/6 immense ground triumphs and I have five military action points, but due to an apparent glitch, I'm unable to attack my enemy. The war will expire in a few hours. (Note: I think I was mistaken. The war doesn't expire until tomorrow.) My nation is Frankistan. https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=37617 My Wars screen: https://politicsandwar.com/nation/war/
  8. I don't see why the deals should automatically expire. Otherwise I think this is fine.
  9. How well do you think D-Day would have gone if the Germans had had more ships than the allies? And most countries aren't going to be as conveniently close as Britain and France.
  10. Ships are currently a mere afterthought. If you want to destroy improvements, you'll attack on the ground. I don't know why you'd bother, though, since you'll hurt him far worse bombing infrastructure.
  11. If it's all the same to you, I'll hold out for an official word on the subject.
  12. So if you're within war range, it shouldn't matter if you're on an island and have a navy ten times bigger than your attacker? He should be able to roll tanks right across the waves? That doesn't make any sense.
  13. I still think this is a good idea. Ships need to play a larger role in the game, and there should be at least some barrier to ground assault.
  14. I hope to get a definitive answer. Players have the right to know what they're getting when they choose to build this.
  15. Some thoughts: Colonies should NOT have their own slots, nor should they take up slots. Developing colonies should be difficult and expensive, but potentially profitable. They should require a long term investment. Colonies should be both destructible and conquerable. You should be able to seize a colony from a weaker opponent. Furthermore. there should be no restrictions on who can attack a colony. (Colonies should be for the big boys.)
  16. But ships aren't cheap, and it isn't all that hard to take them out. Maintaining a large navy is a considerable expense, Players would be forced to make hard decisions.
  17. How would it make war more boring? At any rate, what sense does it make to allow any country to invade any other on the ground, regardless of whether or not they're even connected by land? Don't you think the defending country's navy would have something to say about that?
  18. I suppose that's true, but I think this would make combat more interesting by giving ships a more significant role. Perhaps an exception could be made for nations are that close by on the same land mass.
  19. Suggested rule: if defender's navy is larger than attacker's navy, ground attack is not possible. So in order to attack on the ground, the attacker would need to destroy defending ships until his navy became numerically superior.
  20. How does Propaganda Bureau work? Does the +10% bonus mean, for example, that you can recruit 43% of max soldiers per day instead of 33%? What about ships?
  21. What if there were two air units: fighters, and bombers? Fighters would be effective at battling other fighters and taking out bombers, while the bombers would be strong against ground targets.
  22. If this is implemented, I think that nations should have a way to reorganize their forces, should they become aware that they're under surveillance.
