    You should add an authenticated API feature to allow alliance leaders to collect certain data that they should be able to see from their members. For example, when you're logged in and you're an alliance leader, you can see your members spies. So if authenticated you would be able to see how many spies a member has in the API pull for /api/nation/id=xxxxx

     

    You should also add cash and resources to a properly authenticated API pull on /api/nation/id=xxxxx for alliance leaders, to facilitate collecting accurate and up to date warchest data. Alliance leaders already collect their members warchest data, this just makes it easier to do so as not to have to make members install silly plugins to send their nation page source or force them to have to send their warchest info to their alliance however often their alliance requires.

     

    As for adding authenticated calls, the easiest way would be to add in a way to generate and access key in your account. Then your access key is tied to your nation, and you can access the api as usual using /api/nation/id=xxxxx to get non-authenticated info on a nation (i.e. what we already get today) and you would add something like /api/nation/id=xxxxx/key={unique_id} to access authenticated info. If the nation with id xxxxx is in that person's AA, they get all of the info. If they're not, then they would get the same data you would if you weren't authenticated.

     

    Also, if you plan on adding a paywall to the API, which I'm totally fine with, you would need to add authentication to your API anyway. So may as well do it.

    Your alliance bank contents are public knowledge anyway. You can look at the guy's bank activity, read the note, and it literally says 0.06%. You can and have been able to do this anytime an alliance bank is looted. I didn't divulge anything that wasn't already public information, provided you knew where to look.

    Is this fixed yet?

    If you dont want applicants draining your bank. kick them.

    1 - An applicant can get attacked before we can boot. Then the bank gets looted even after we kick because the loot comes from AA they were in when attacked, not when defeated.

     

    2 - I can't wait to abuse this bug by sending people to apply to SK so we can loot your bank. I reported it, so I'll be immune. Oh, no you probably don't like that right? Right. It's a bug. Piss off.

    So if anyone has reason to quit the game it's me.  But I'm not quitting (although sometimes I wonder why I bother) because I have adapted to the situation I've been presented with.

     

    I don't think the solution is necessarily to just sign as many allies as you can and build a counter-Syndi sphere (or try like hell to saddle up).  Most of the time that's not even feasible in either case.  And that puts my alliance at the whims of other alliances which has really sucked at times.  And quite frankly most of us will never be active enough to put in the hours needed for proper FA sphere building/strategy that 100+ nation alliances can do.

     

    But what I can do is make my alliance a nasty filthy target to attack - one that pops back up and always outdamages it's opponents.  I can wedge out a little group of ultra-solid allies and be ready for whatever comes our way whether it's 5 nations or 500.  People can laugh at nuclear weapons, but they have their place as a tactically sound weapon in *certain* situations.

    No one's laughing at nukes anymore.

    What were you doing (or trying to do): Looking at AA bank

     

    What happened (describe thoroughly please): If an applicant loses a war, the bank of the AA they are a mere applicant to gets looted.

    All of those loots are against applicants. None were members when they had were declared on them, or indeed at any point in time. Bank was looted anyway.

    No Buorhann, it isn't. In Silent war they had major advantage and failed. Face it, it's not possible to take you down

    This. Even in the Silent war, we still needed a little more to do it. Paperless probably would have pushed us over the edge to do it, but they didn't commit. Now your side is stronger and the ex-paracov...errr..."side" is weaker. Paragon is no more. Cov is in ruins. NPO and Acadia are all that's really left of that side. Even if GoT sphere were good, they're not enough. Even if paperless (TEst/RW/Arrgh) wanted to help, Pre has already made it more than clear that he doesn't want to. It's not going to happen. Your side will never again face another actual challenge until it's willing to break up. That doesn't mean you *have* to break up, nor is it your responsibility to make the game interesting again if you don't want to. Am telling you to? No. Do w\e you want. But you can't have a challenge and stick together. That's no longer possible.

    We took a shaky 4 alliance build and went up against superior numbers to where we are now.  Not once in the past did we !@#$, moan, or cry about Paragon or Covenant, or ParaCov, being bigger than us throughout our journey.

     

    So please, kindly shut the !@#$ up.  I know that's a harsh thing to say, but I'm hoping it gets through your cynical pessimistic attitude.

     

    Telling me to shut the !@#$ up doesn't change the fact that it's impossible for your coalition to be challenged. So don't go around telling people to do something they can't do. You can call me cynical and pessimistic all you want, but really all that means is that you're being disingenuous, or you're just blind.

    I just find it amusing that you guys are tearing at TEst and Friends instead of working together to plan a future war against Syndi/OOsphere.  It's like you folks literally want our side to continue dominating or something.

     

    So you want something different, but more of the same? lol. Open your eyes, there doesn't exist a power that can compete with your sphere anymore. Even if the rest of the entire game, paperless included, teamed up against you, you would win. There's nothing to be done anymore to compete against you lot. If you want competition then break up your sphere. If you don't want to break up your sphere, then you can't !@#$ about no one being able to compete. Make up your mind one way or the other and stop posting nonsense.

    I just wish hegemoney finally shows us their balls. None of their actions are implying they got em except their posting which is ofcourse not backed up by facts. Neither Alpha ot TEst are bragging that much but we've proven to have planet sized balls with our actions

    Sorry but isolating yourselves and enabling the hegemoney to the point where they had nothing left to do but to go whale hunting is not ballsy. Just stupid.
