  1. We've got a kind of glue that's stronger than the dankest memes. It's dark magic. We're actually a cult, who cut ourselves each Thursday at precisely midnight, then the blood magic keeps us together. That's why every hit makes us stronger and why we keep coming back for more. You might win a year of battles, but NPO wins eventually. We bend and break like everyone else, but somehow we are never fully broken. That's what you guys will come to understand if you manage to stick it out in Orbis for long enough. The longer we go without war, the more dead wood and useless pixels we gather. War is when we cast aside the unworthy and grow as an alliance. The strongest steel goes through the hottest fire. We aren't there yet, we're in more like a faulty gas cooker that keeps fizzling out, but makes a lot of noise.

  2. So why was he in NPO in the first place? Also if he was such an issue are you flippin out over his leaving?

A screw up on our bit (NS NPO side). We didn't let the other branches know in time, then he was already in, and already had big investments in him, and seemed to be working out fine. I mean, he's just a kid, so we kind of thought 'shit is exaggerated, he hasn't messed with NPO personally, maybe he's changed' etc.

If this has already been answered in the next few pages, meh, better to say twice than be the grass holes who don't warn what you're getting into. IDK if Roz Wei has female members, but if so just warn them and warn Sci that if he tries anything he's out. The annoyingness would be seen by everyone, and it's more an irritant rather than something that would mess with people.

  3. Feel free to ask one of RW new member

Have fun with that bucket of filth. You'll see soon enough why the majority of players in NS hate his guts. That is why he switches his names all the time. From the mild bad bits like being annoying to the major things like 'rumours' of sexual harassment. I say rumours because it is via PMs, and I've only seen their sides of the story rather than his.

Best case scenario, he is helpful, tries to turn over a new leaf, and works well until he leaves/is kicked in a short ish period of time.

  4. We've got the best incentive for continuing the war. In peace, GreatKitteh can't post on the forums, so has to come to ours. In war on the other hand, there are so many fertile grounds to shit post our NPO forums get spared (partially). Also the idea of slaving away for another alliance's gain isn't too appealing, while blowing their stuff up is. I got sent a pretty good shitpost though by BK, not sure if we can compete on that kinda level.

  5. We need a total cost of the damage taken by each alliance for this war. There were a few earlier, but I want some more stats to throw around. Then you'd see why it's more in BK's interest to pay reps to us rather than for us to pay reps to them.

  6. Read the guys name backwards. It is the tutorial continued. Sheepy adds extra ones every so often, and it's a good way to access Keno and Dice. It's like referrals, no one uses it usually but it's good to have when you do.

  7. He's part of the NPO government. With the betrayal of its allies and members, I can't say I'm all that surprised about the forum conduct of NPO's government.

They are, quite simply, dragging this out because of their immeasurable arrogance.

Think your bottom tier is complaining a lot more than our alliance is/will. We just did the economic calculations, and we can do this indefinitely, or until you pay us the 1 billion in reps, or however much we are asking for now - should be going up with your losses in the war. This war has done miracles for pretty much every stat I have - so thank you.

  8. Clearly, judging by how well you did.

A lot better than last time at least, both me, and the alliance as a whole. Positive K/D from this war which did a bit to mask the horror of our first time. I lost a bit more infra than I took, but the cost of replacing mine is less than 15 mil while the cost of replacing what I did is over 50 mil. Don't get me wrong, I and most of us got wiped with the massive down declares etc. but this time I'm sweet fighting on, along with the alliance.

To be fair, they did do pretty well compared to their allies.

Probably due to tougher fronts in fairness.

  9. Ah, you see, if you look very carefully there are minute changes between the words 'Black Knights' and 'Brotherhood of the Clouds' after hours of struggling I have managed to read past the first letter, and determine that he was in fact a black knights member, and not a member of the brotherhood of the clouds. Thank you for your concern and helpful links.

Wait, we're at war with more than one alliance beginning with B? That explains a lot. In all seriousness, I thought it was you guys, but we lined up the dates etc. and it didn't quite work out.

  10. Personally, I think both should disallowed.

If you sell off too much military, you can deal with the consequences. Likewise, if you buy military, you shouldn't be able to sell them straight away either.

Whether that is for the rest of the day, or just the rest of the turn, that is something that should be discussed. I'm in favor of the latter, as it allows people to make strategic moves across a turn end, but still restricts military purchases in the short term.

Day, doing it per turn doesn't really make a difference when people time it right.

  11. I really wish I knew what you were referring to. As far as I'm aware, we've gained one member? Nobody has deleted their nation, and no members present before the war quit the alliance. Oh wait, that's a lie, I did for about an hour, purely out of boredom. That's what happens when you don't give a man slots. I kicked out an inactive at one point? Are you sure you've got the right alliance?

    https://politicsandwar.com/nation/id=30794

Was in your alliance, deleted, now remade and has 2 cities, and is on the new nation beige period.

Scroll down my nation activity and you'll see the war declaration but in war activity it is gone because he deleted.

bullet_blue.png09/11 12:22 am - Flanderlion declared war on Republic of Lisbonfor the reason of "NPO says hi.". - that is NZ time so it might be a different date by a day due to TZ's

  12. THE NEWBIES HAVE SPOKEN

    Seems like a multi tbh.

    No

Not his problem (âŒâ– _â– )

    Have a Nice Day

New player experience is Sheepy's problem. Don't get me wrong, I love the change, was just surprised at how little starting resources a new nation gets in the beginning, and I think food wise it should be dramatically increased.

  13.

National project name:  Indoor Food Growth

Small description:  Allows your nation to grow food indoors without the effects of radiation.

Project effect: Reduces Radiation® by 50%

Resource cost: 2000 Lead, 1000 Steel.

    Cash cost: 10,000,000

By 50% seems a bit too much. By 10% etc. is more realistic - so you can produce something but not much.

Also project suggestion: Fort Knox: Increase cap from 100 thousand to 1 or 10 million dollars of unlootable money.

  14. My nation is in Africa, where it says the radiation effect is 100%.

However, looking at my own Food Production, it says it is greater than 105%:

Is this an error, or not.

Please explain it, and is there any way to lower it?

    From the Radiation page:

"Nuclear Radiation affects all nations. When a Nuclear Weapon is detonated in a successful nuclear attack, the Global Nuclear Radiation Index increases by 1 Roentgen ®. Locally, the Regional Nuclear Radiation Index for the continent on which the nuclear weapon was detonated increases by 5 R. Each nation is subject to the radiation exposure from their combined Regional Nuclear Radiation Index and the Global Nuclear Radiation Index.

Radiation decreases crop yields, reducing Food production. The amount that Food production is decreased by is equivalent to a nation's Radiation Index divided by 1000.

Radiation dissipates over time, with more recent nuclear weapons detonations having a stronger effect than previous ones. After 100 Turns, or just over 8 real-life days, all of the radiation from a single nuclear detonation will have dissipated and no longer have an effect."

    https://politicsandwar.com/world/radiation/

So to lower it you'll have to hope for no/very few nukes to be launched in the next few week or so. Currently there is a global war, so that isn't likely, but you can try and persuade your alliance to either wipe us enough to make us sue for peace, or persuade your alliance to sue for peace to hasten the end of the conflict.

Nuclear Weapons Detonated in Last 24 Hours 250

Australia went down by a small bit. Everything else is doomed.

  16. I've had a lot of complaints in messages about this mechanic, and I've addressed them all the same way:

You all (collectively) get to figure out how to deal with this problem. You can write up nuclear restriction deals, or whatever you want, but I'm not going to swoop in and save the day here, because really the worst that will happen is that food just gets expensive. I don't think we'll get anywhere near the point where there's actually not enough food left in the game.

Also, a tip to pay attention to the Facebook page - I posted on there an "insider tip" to buy food like a week ago ;)

I like it. Makes food more valuable.

  17. I like you guys. First you guys give me an easy war, then you guys are kind enough to delete your alliances nations to allow me to start bombing your allies infra.

In all seriousness, sorry about that guy rage quitting (but you'll thank us for making the average backbone of your guys better).
