I find it crazy how often I see you post this exact post in the suggestion subforum lmao. I whole-heartedly agree that any change to beige will be devastating for the game unless other concurrent changes are made.

Remove Beige is up there with Add Subs for worst, most frequent suggestion.

Freedom of expression is recognized as a human right under article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and recognized in international human rights law in the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR). Article 19 of the UDHR states that "everyone shall have the right to hold opinions without interference" and "everyone shall have the right to freedom of expression; this right shall include freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers, either orally, in writing or in print, in the form of art, or through any other media of his choice".

Also all my " crimes" were committed under the umbrella of a New´s Agency so journalistic freedoms apply also, also one would argue most nations using the citizens as collateral to loans makes everything governmental entities and if going by socialistic ideas there is no such thing as private property.... :D:D  But I understand your impulse on wanting to tap your finger on that sign

Way to double down on the asinine nature of your original invocation. As much as IQ's whining, gas-lighting and victim theater might feel like attacks on your person, they aren't. IQ has no power to stop you from pursuing self expression on these boards, save from telling you they don't want to play with you anymore. You aren't being subjected, and never have been subjected to*, anything that would actually constitute interference. Your invoking of journalistic freedom is also equally asinine, as we live in a world that's becoming increasing more dangerous to actual journalists.

Your tangent into nations using citizens as collateral on loans, what level of Alex Jones nonsense is this? Also, your completely misrepresenting the difference between private and personal property in even the shittiest socialist systems, but all of this just leaves me wondering how on earth you expect that to be related?

*if IQ has actually interfered with your ability to express yourself, for example, black mailing or extorting you, stop using it as an argument to feel good on a forum and contact the appropriate authorities.

  3. Beige is a load bearing beam in the rotten structure that is the war system. You can't just change it without having cascading consequences. Give how easy it is to be zeroed and how hard it is to build up in comparison, beige is not the most pressing issue surrounding war length. The necessity of drawing wars to allow the continual suppression of an opponent, with the lack of available counter-play on the losing side, needs a far more complex and all encompassing solution than making beige go away.

Hopefully the post war update will bring sweeping changes to the mechanics.

I'm more inclined to believe this is an IC thing that's gone wild and not something that's the result of a data breach.

I thought that was the case, but I'm hearing from multiple people that it was a hack.

Gonna be honest here, Rommel was a great commander and was actually anti Nazi. He just was pro German. He hated Hitler, in fact, he support the plot to kill him. Do you know anything about Rommel my good sir?

You are literally quoting a link detailing the Afrika Korps participation in acts of genocide. And are participating in one of the oldest and most debunked WW2 myths. Rommel was an above average tactician with no ability to comprehend strategy in any meaningful way. He's a textbook case of the Peter Principle.

His anti-nazism was due to internal power struggles in the last months of a dying regime. Hitler crafted a political scene of pure political darwinism and it bit him in the ass. All of this is understandable from a 90 second read of a goddamn wikipedia article, but yet here I am again, explaining basic history to yet another wehraboo middle schooler debate club participant.

Celebrating the demise of a coalition partner of yours.... Nice mate totally a good look, not like you lot are concerned with PR anyway.

Nothing strange about it, they picked a theme of a unit which was entirely clean of any war crimes in an army which was clearly Anti-Communist to its core. Drawing comparisons between Anti-Communist forces in WW2 and present day political movements through Europe and the US is at best an attempt to slander said groups or at worse distortion of history. Thankfully Communism is consigned to the scrapheap of history where it rightfully belongs despite the lamentations of its meager crew of brainwashed Idiots.

But yeah, I'm sure Rommel was just a really nice guy who happened to be a good commander for mean old Mister Hitler.

  7. This is a terrible suggestion in the current design space. The underlining logic for the suggestion seems to be an argument for realism, but nothing else about the game is realistic on any reasonable scale. Game elements only reference realistic things, and forcing a sense of realism into one aspect breaks the games internal logic and has cascading effects.

This suggestion takes place in a game where players can already be held down indefinitely, acquiring penalties for scenarios that have no counter play. Adding penalties for those scenarios is untenable, as the balance of power is already shifted so far away from a nation losing wars.

On top of this, given the genius idea to add radiation as suppressant to food production in game, the damage from a global war would get multiplied by the factor of decreased, causing spiraling inflation as production plummets under these penalties.

I'm assuming this is a troll post, but it's a bad troll post, with arguments based off a poor understanding of both basic game design principles and a basic understanding of the current game balance. I know it's lulzy to try and bait Alex into crashing his own game, or make people angry with targeted suggestions, but if you want to accomplish either of those things, you could stand to be a bit more subtle.
