I'll note quickly that I think it's probably an awful idea to try to figure out who Alex's "trusted players" are. It's nonsense that so few people should have so much influence, sure, and I certainly have my suspicions about their motivations which I think are valid, but ultimately it's not those people's responsibility so much as Alex's for doing a poor job of aggregating.
I have been complaining about this for like two years. It is very frustrating that sheep has some inner cabal advising him that clearly does not represent the player base.

Grand conspiracy? I'm sorry mister "The Russians are rigging the election for Trump" guy but I don't partake in such things and I'll accept it. The media, establishment politicians, and big money all behind Clinton is well noted and to such extremes that if Trump wins he'll have overcome more odds than anyone in American history to win. If he loses than sadly it was simply too much and their hold is still strong enough to keep their little scam going a little while longer. Nothing more, nothing less.

I think a roll-back would be fitting. There is a president for rollbacks. However, there is no president for roll-backs favorably impacting a certain group so I am quite sure that it will not happen.

You are introducing this change after the players have spent stupendous amount of money to acquire treasures. You have effectively screwed over many people from many alliances because they TRUSTED you to keep the mechanics as is in the short run.
I see no reason at all why you cannot delay this update up until the next treasure respawn round, unless you are really intent on destroying all the trust you have with your player base.

My basic statement is that Hitler himself was not elected into office, as he was appointed by Hindenburg (what an accomplishment it is to pressure an old man [that didn't even want to run for presidency to begin with] into appointing your leader to a government seat, isn't it? Especially when said leader happens to command a mob of thugs that don't hesitate to utilize violence, as evidenced in the follow-up elections of 1933). I never denied the fact that his party was elected into government positions, or debated that the position that Hitler held before 1934 was illegal (of course, he being a Chancellor wasn't illegal). I was merely pointing out that he himself wasn't elected into a position. You two seem to be getting that mixed up. I fail to understand why you are trying to defend Hitler's rise to power as democratic, when in reality, the only election that they won fairly was in 1932 (It might be just me, but the usage of violence to dissuade/silence the opposition is not reaaaally an asset utilized in true democracies).
As much as I want to continue, I don't want to derail the conversation further from the actual topic of this thread, which is gun control. We can continue via PM's (whether you want to type down your response here or just jump into PM's is up to you).
