Kirov-Class Heavy Missile Cruiser, Pyotr Velikiy presented to the people of the Northern Fleet area. The new Kirov class heavy missile cruiser is designed for large scale fleet engagements, with advanced radar, guidance and missile systems capable of defeating modern naval and air threats. The Pyotr Velikiy is also capable of providing in shore close tactical support with it's compliment of sea-to-land based guided missiles, as well as advanced anti-shipping P series 'Granit' missiles. The first in a line of several vessels, the flagship will serve as the bulwark and scion of the Russian Navy.
