This piece of "poetry" or writing was written by a founding member of the Nova Scotian government (He was gone for years, so he may have been an altered state of mind), while trekking through the geography of our great lands. He took a step away from humanity, to go out and observe from afar and keep up on societies actions. He viewed and experienced some horrendous acts but also beautiful things too. This was his conclusion, or what we think is one.

Elusive shadows cast tall beings into the realm of reality, home to the unending suffering of the living. Walking lone and falsely proud; the human treads the earth like it owns the place. No matter the dominance and population of such a species, it can not be forgiven for what it has done, and is doing. Punishments are a thing of nature, it’s a perfect concept, thought out by the forces themselves. A tree grows and kills many smaller plant life by blocking the sun, the tree thus is caught in a forest fire, to be burnt to the ground as fertilizer for the weak it was once killing.

Humans take what they want, this can last as long as they please. Some day nature will take it's inevitable course and cause the hierarchy man has created, to crumble to the ground. In which may lead to desperation and not-so-surprising acts of violence and hatred at the realization, that they have been overcome by a power in which they thought they held.

The greens of the earth turn to white, as the humans create controlled environments for the children of nature to live. Bleached is a plants view now, and re-coloured in a vision made by man. Herded but not heard is the concept conceived by mankind, for the creatures and keepers of nature are literally, lamb for the slaughter. Number and files, not comfort, and smiles is the motto for human organization.

Far is the concept of peace, in which can be seen, but not obtained. Value spreads thin when times are so grim. The news stations, predicting wars and conflicts instead of weather or an eclipse. In a world so dark, in a world where humans prevail, in a world in which the balance is disregarded, there will be a consequence. It will be near, in which all fear.

His work was an introduction to an autobiography to a book he wrote when he was out there, observing mankind, finding answers and discovering new questions to strive for. His motives for this is unknown to us. After this, the book goes on to a more light sort of read. Pleasant; unlike this.

We have seized the means of production. Though union, and self-governance, we have organized between all peoples of the land.
