Lord_Johnny
So, I've just started the game, and it's telling me that I need to build either a Coal power plant or an Oil power plant, and that whatever option for things that I can mine will be what I can build. I went down, and both the Coal and the Oil power plant were an option, so I randomly chose the Oil Power plant. It registers that the cash was spent, that the improvement slot was taken, but it won't update the Tutorial quest. I've refreshed the page. Now, It's been a long week, and it's getting late at night, so maybe I'm missing something obvious, but if I am it's not coming to me. Help please?1 Oil Power Plant Tutorial Just above the improvements section of this page you should see a bold text that says: Improvements (1/2). These are your improvement slots. Each 50 infrastructure you have in your city unlocks a new slot. You currently have 2 slots unlocked, and 1 slot open because one slot is occupied by a farm. Some improvements require power to operate. You'll see these denoted by icons. Military improvements require power to operate. To supply your city with power, you'll need to build a Power Plant. There are four types of Power Plants, but you'll want either a Coal or Oil Power Plant. These are cheap to operate and resources for them are easily available. Depending on your continent, you'll only be able to harvest either oil or coal -- not both. Click the Resources link and buy either a Coal Mine or an Oil Well -- whichever is available. Comstock
The tutorial's instructions are to buy a coal mine or an oil well. It wants you buy those first before the power plants. Both are located under the "resources" tab in the city manager. I can see how the wording can be a bit confusing though. Have fun! 1
Lord_Johnny
Well, that certainly does answer the question. I'm a bit of a goof. Thank you.
