The War isn't thawing; it is burning with a deadly heat. Germany isn't sleeping; it is, as always, plotting, scheming, working, fighting. Our Republic is at threat.

The French Army had been surveying German, Austrian, Hungadada, and other European movements. Using the French UAV’s, Spy Satellites, Reconnaissance Troops and even local informants. This was apart of EUROCOM’s Overall European Domination Strategy. General Dianna Kruger, the lead mind behind the Motherland Theory and France’s sharpest leader on European Military Tactics was leading the French EUROCOM Strategy. However, the actions of Austria in expansion into Italy moved the timetables drastically.

The Germans in the North can wait for Operation Atlas. The 13e RDP has reported Austrian Troops moving into Eastern Italia. Because they have initiated the Koyo Protocols, we must move into these positions. General Kruger highlighted Positions just East of Headquarters and the regions of Piedmont and Lombardy will fall next. The Koyo Protocols dictate we control these lands, she displayed a map of the Koyo Agreement. What we aren’t expected is to take the Florence Region or Rome. Operation Sabertooth will allow us to use special forces to survey the border and the unorganized territory of Italy before Austrian Troops expand further.

Commander Maximillian spoke up, “Thank you, General Kruger. With this plan, can we expect any retaliation from the Austrians? As you know, President Korczak wishes to establish friendlier relations and not push them into Germany’s Corner.”

“Thank you, sir, I can assure the Joint Chiefs and the President that at its current stage Sabertooth will not provoke them, our backdrop is our work to capture rogue separatists and also explore Latium for resources and information.”

Bern, France January 3rd, 2000

French European Command Center

    EUROCOM

A thunderous explosion rocked the Mountain Base of France’s European Strategic Homeland Defense Center. The European Command Center had been attacked, within minutes hundreds of lives were lost. The blast damaged the ventilation system, broke the laboratories on-site, and destroyed the Command Bunker that housed General Diane Kruger. It took hours for French rescue helicopters to arrive, with reinforcements sent via air-drop. The explosion had caused a cave-in, and an avalanche to cover the main road into the small town of Vredesville and the Strategic European Command Center. General Kruger had been declared alive, alongside General Kazaki of the Armee de Terre, she and some associates were at the local tavern when the explosion detonated.

French Police, Soldiers, and local civilians helped clear the debris from the road and clean out the base. Every clean-up revealed yet another unfortunate soul who had died. By Early Dawn, the French Ministry of Interior had broken through the snow and relief trucks had arrived. The Ministry of Interior confirmed 73 casualties, 67 Soldiers, and 6 civilians.

The Attack had crippled EUROCOM for the time being, however, the base would be rebuilt and restored. General Kruger and Kazaki were requested immediately to return to Paris and brief the President. The Army had locked down Vredesville, and with the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate for Internal Security, they would find the perpetrators.

A small vigil was held in the town square, to remember the dead and to move back to normal life. Vredesville had been erected after the construction of The Fortress of Caesar. General Kruger herself wanted the Command Center to be a model for others. Located in the Alps, the base stretched miles using tunnels and underground shelters allowing mobility and accessibility across the fortress. It was easily maintained for a 2,500 garrison and an officer corp of 800. The Fortress was quite expensive, totaling 700 million Francs. However, General Kruger delivered and EUROCOM had outlined strategic plans to counter all threats and keep the mainland safe from all threats.  With such a large size, the base saw civilians develop and curtail an entire city based on this base.

The Operation shall consist of three major attacks. In the North, the Marine will deploy its ships to Amsterdam and the Northern German Coast where 20,000 Marines will launch an amphibious assault on Germany. While those Marines are preparing, 40,000 Paratroopers will launch an airborne landing on the entire Southern German region where 60,000 soldiers with armor support will roll in through Bavaria and head into Southern Germany where Paratroopers are expected to control major bridges, railroads, and crossroads.

The Operation will begin in under 48 hours, within the next 24 hours the French S.O.G. RM6 and DGSE will covertly drop into German territory to mark key military installations. They will be our eyes on the ground until in 27 hours the Satellites will survey the border and uses infrared-lens with UAV assistance to scan for heat signatures and areas emitting large amounts of energy.

After 48 Hours, the French Airforce will send in F-17s with ECR and Jammers to assist the Rafales and Troop Transports as they escort the eleven airborne brigades to Sectors Arc, Briggate, Charlie, Douve, Effle and Fox where they shall move to capture key strategic zones.

The Army will move into Bavaria, we expect low if any resistance from Bavarians. If the Army Divisions are held up, the Marine invasion will be moved by 12-hours to support the Airborne troops. We will push the enemy until we reach the Savior Line and from there we can see if the Germans will accept terms of peace or if they continue to fight. Heavy Artillery will support the Army as they move to support the Paratroopers and Aircrafts will utilize the Strasbourg airport and airbase to launch airstrikes and provide air-cover. Anti-Air devices are deployed amongst each unit, however, for precautions, some anti-air systems are being deployed and we expect them to arrive in 72 hours.

Thank you, General Kruger. The Senat has voted in-favor for war against Germany. I expect results none-less than victory.

Thank you, Mr. President [President of the Senat]

Godspeed.

The French Generals and Government Officials watches the simulations.

The President of the Senat was very astonished. He went as far as to thank Paris Dynamic™'s for their latest innovation in Military Technology. The simulation had accurately played a political scenario at the Senat. None of the members of the Senat were aware, but their vote was a mimic of the virtual scenario to see its realism. With a slim difference, the Senat vote was an overwhelming majority to war.

The Actual military conflict took a total of several weeks with an estimated 3,000 french casualties and 6,000 German casualties. In 50.38% of the simulations, France turned out victorious and in 49.62%, German was victorious. The data was stunning and the next couple of weeks would see real-life tests and analysis combing through data.
