        The Paris attacks were still reminiscent amongst the minds of the Laurentian people. Angered and lustful for vengeance, the Laurentian Government had employed over fifteen people to work around the clock find those responsible, with the power of the Laurentian Government and her intelligence agencies the Special Task Force had identified two ring-leaders of the attacks. The Cyber-Division of the DGSE identified Shepard and Chief Wohmpa. Although it would take months of joint DGSI and DGSE operatives and intelligence analysts to find the identities of these Alias the Laurentian Government were not only able to get the names of the ringleaders, but also visual confirmation. In a failed sting operation, the DGSE would nearly capture El Jefe, an Alias for Raymon Brunelle a 32 Caucasian male of Laurentian citizenship. During the failed operation, one DGSE operative and three civilians were killed resulting in the Allied-Italian Government stepping up its role in tracking down El Soto and other Scorpio members.

        On the live feed, the GIGN and HNP remained silent as they drove in armored vehicles to a farmhouse in rural and northern Hungadada.

    The Laurentian GIGN and one member of the HNP would reach the door, with two men stationed at each entrance and exit. Bringing the door hammer, the HNP broke down the door, tossing a flash. The Laurentian GIGN would rush in, followed by the HNP. They secured the ground floor before pushing up. Downstairs, Savior and a member of the HNP broke down the garage door and swept the bottom floor. Raymond picked up his firearm, illegally brought into Hungadada and fired several shots at the HNP and GIGN. With strict orders to capture Raymond alive, the GIGN tossed a secondary flash. They burst the room, rushing and pinning Raymond as the HNP secured his weapon. Successfully capturing Raymond, the GIGN placed a black hood over him. No doubt the neighborhood would have heard the shots and flocked to see what havoc was brought to their peaceful neighborhood. The HNP created a permitter and told residents to head back in, three Laurentian diplomatic vehicles arrived at the scene and escorted The GIGN and Raymond back to The Laurentian Embassy in Port Royalty. At the Embassy The Laurentian Troupe de Marine and Armee de L’air placed Raymond in a Seahawk as they flew across the Channel to Paris where Laurentian Prosecutors and the DGSE awaited Raymond to be interrogated. A Joint Laurentian-Flemish court case would charge Raymond Brunelle on Terrorism, Destruction of Property, Use of illegal biohazards, Illegal possession of firearms, Illegal possession of chemical weapons, unpermitted firearm, transfer of weapons from Flanders to Hungadada without permit, failure to complete military service, failure to comply with Ministry of Interior guidelines on Chemical Safety.     The Laurentian Foreign Intelligence Agency was, however, more interested in finding Ms. Mugabi, a senior member Scorpio she was the head of the entire Scorpio chemical department. A former researcher, she joined the FRA and AHM as a chemist and aided them with obtaining Cobra and helped smuggle Cobra across the globe. Her Alias Chief Wohmpa flagged, made an appearance in Crete, thanks to the tip-off from the Italian Intelligence Agencies, Laurentia’s DGSE agents flew into Crete as tourists. 

 

    The winter breeze, calming and soothing flew over the Cretan island, a popular destination for tourists from the European Union and Abroad during this season. Posing as tourists from Greece, Italy, Poland, and Laurentia the DGSE’s sole mission was to capture Sasha Mugabi at all costs. The HNP would not be informed, in an effort to minimize possible collaboration and of course to protect the DGSE agents operating inside foreign territory. Paying in cash, the DGSE rented a boat under a false alias before sailing to a distant island not far from the main Cretan Island. The Strike-Team would turn off their engine, as they let the current drive them the last leg of the journey, the clear crystal waters of crete would make underwater submersion impossible so the Strike-Team used the boat to drift to the coast and hiking 630 meters before reaching the small estate. Guarded by Scorpio Agents, the DGSE would approach the gates and break past the fencing avoiding enemy patrols. 

    The young charismatic woman was not hard to distinguish, tossing a Candella, the DGSE neutralized her two-man detail and used a Chloroform dapped cloth, they knocked out Sasha before being extracted by an Italian Eurocopter to Southern Italy. At an undisclosed airbase, the DGSE followed normal procedure reading Sasha’s rights, and informing her right to an attorney when she reached Laurentian Soil. Once that was complete, they turned off the monitor and recording devices. 

    Viper: “That is when we get to Laurentia, so long as you are not there and trust us me, so long as we are not in Laurentia, the criminal law does not apply. In fact, no one will know you are missing, not your government, not even our government will realize you have been captured. Echo, how long do we have?”

    Echo: “Two hours, give or take.” 

    Viper: “We will need to work fast then. She opened her toolkit, pulling out wires, pins, handcuffs, drills, a stapler, and other equipment, pulling Sasha back, she used the pins to pinch her hands. You know all this equipment, you’ve personally used them…we know the sick shit you’ve done…Until you tell me what I want to know, the pain will not stop, it will get so bad that you will beg for death to relive you.”

    Viper would use various forms of torture on Sasha until she capitulated and wrote down the names of Laurentian Government officials, Flemish Generals, and other important members of the European Governments who were involved or working with The AHM, FRA, and Scorpio. The Laurentian ATLAS air-transport arrived at the airfield, picking up the DGSE agents and Sasha traveling back to Laurentia. The Laurentian Intelligence Agency had created a cover story, that the National Guard had captured Sasha and three other Scorpio members as they attempted to cross the border between Flanders and Laurentia. An explosion would, unfortunately, kill Sasha, fourteen civilians, and several members of the National Guard. Which although true, had happened from a cross-border raid earlier that day. 

   Fourtunate for Sasha, the DGSE was finished with her, while she awaited her faith inside a secure holding center in Lyon, Raymond has just begun his taste of pain. The DGSE would be waiting, as soon as the public show of strength was compelte, they would have their turn at Raymond and just like Sasha the DGSE would not stop until they had names and locations. The Government would plan a massive "anti-corruption" raid in the following weeks on Scorpio-sympatizer and those on Scorpio's payroll inside the Government. This would require multi-national support to capture all the government officals within a timely manner.

   "Following Leaks from the Laurentian Foreign Intelligence Agency, our correspondent's in Britannia reached out to the Britannian Government in regards to alleged reports that the Britannian Government interference in the 2020 Presidential Election of Laurentia. Our local correspondent Mujji Sahuso is on with us. Mijji, What can you tell us about your communications with the Britannian Government?"

  "Well, Carina, I'd like to play this clip that I obtained while speaking with the Emperor." Clip plays. "As we explained with the Laurentian government we know it was not Britannia. We have documents and information not to mention testimony from Zodiac Agents that their plan was to cause a rift between Britannia and their ally Laurentia. It was linked to the telecoms murder, rainbow operation in southern France and eventually the war we see today. Britannia is a victim of framing by these terrorists that we and our allies are about to put down once and for all." Clip ends. "It appears that both Laurentia and Britannia for some time were aware of these events and yet the National Assembly denies it was even aware of these breaches. While the Emperor staunchly denied his government was involved in any form of influence, this does devolve the other leaks from the Agency about torture."

 "Indeed, you are right Mijji. Would you say that the Intelligence leaks were outdated or simply non-factual? 

 "Well, I believe they are authentic, the reports signified that the source of origin of the attacks was Britannia and as the Emperor stated. "Britannia is a victim of framing by these terrorists that we and our allies are about to put down once and for all." We get a hint that Britannia is also preparing for a more direct role in fighting Zodiac, but that this was simply a ploy to disrupt Britannian-Laurentian Relations." 

  "Thank you Mijji. Next, on EuroNews, a series of leaks and now social media are flaring with the reports that Laurentia has been using Torture on civilians. Social Media, from twitter to facebook blew up in posts regarding torture with now reports that the Laurentian Armee de Terre has not only also been using torture, but has been indirectly or directly committing acts of genocide against the Eslovan ethnic group in Switzerland. Ever since the 2019 intervention in Switzerland, the ESA reports 15,000 disappearances and deaths and at least 300 victims of chemical attacks. The ESA has called an international investigation into these reported crimes. On the other side of the globe, the Novan Citizens Union also reported that roughly 75 civilians have disappeared ever since the 'occupation' of Quebec City with acts of borderline Ethnic cleansing being reported. We spoke with the Chief of the Armed Forces." 

      "We wholeheartedly deny these allegations that the Armed Forces and in specific the Army have been killing and harming Civilians inside Switzerland. In retrospect, it is the Eslovan Salvation Army that began an Ethnic Genocide and is now crying wolf. Our mission in Switzerland is limited to Laurentian Switzerland, with small-scale raids into the remainder of Switzerland. When the ESA is willing to come to the table we are willing to listen, but we see this as an insult to call the Laurentian Army an army of genocide and torture..." 

     "The Elections coming in Quebec have seen many highlights as the Novan People's Front an English right-wing nationalist party and the An Alternate for Quebec a French right-wing nationalist party is leading the election. Many have feared that cross-border elections will cause some temperance and that violence is expecting to spark after the results of the election. The roughly 40,000 National Guardsmen have been deployed across the entire region to prevent this expected surge in Violence."

Laurentia’s Intelligence Leaders arrived quietly on the rooftop of the DGSE complex in Paris. The Darkness illuminates the backdrop of the Chateau-Bleu and the Eiffel Tower in the background. The National Security Advisor, The Director of the DGSE, DGSI, and RM6 met to discuss the recent leaks and whistleblowers. 

   Élisée looked at Mistral, Cooper, and Summers. “You know what I love about this spot? You can see the European Court of Justice, The Presidential Palace, the European Commission, and even the Eiffel Tower. But I can assure you, in the coming weeks you will be seeing a lot of the European Court of Justice unless we squash this threat right now. What do you have Sasha? 

[Sasha Cooper, Director of the DGSI] 

    “We have identified the three whistleblowers, we were able to run an internal system dissection, looking at travel patterns and of course the relative times and established that Eliza Brunso, Carlos Franco, and Robert Walters are the three responsible for leaking the classified information. We don’t know if they have attempted to escape, but the DGSI has sent our Strike-Team to their houses and turned up negative, we know that Walters left with his family, and Franco was on a mission to Algeria in the previous weeks. RM6 has a special forces group tracking Franco as we speak, and we have placed them on travel bans on all three and sent a report to the European Intelligence Directorate. Walters and his family are somewhere in Laurentia, and we will find them.”

    “Thank you Sasha. Marcus, does the DGSE have anything?”

    “Unfortunately, we believe that Eliza Brunso has already defected, she was our best asset and she was already prepared to leave before she leaked the classified intelligence. We also believe we have uncovered the Scorpio Mole inside the DGSE. However, we need Brunso to validate it. Our Spy ring in Algeria, Egypt, Italy, and even in E.U. states has turned nothing so far.” 

    “Can any of this link to the President?”

Sasha spoke up, “As we know, only the four of us are even aware of the Special Interrogation Division of the exists. No one else is aware, and for that reason, no one else even knows of our actives other than the 30 authorized personnel. Within legal framework we are also protected, the Geneva Conventions are ratified on Laurentian soil, all our interrogation that require extra push happen before they enter Laurentian territorial space.”

    “Very well, I want you close up all loose ends, the Army complaints will be more challenging, what do you think Elizabeth?.

    “The reports are semi-true, yes we have indirectly allowed the Frankish Defense League and the Swiss Defense Force to perpetrate acts that can be considered ethnic cleansing, and yes we have kidnapped multiple ESA commandants but no civilians. While we are trying to stop the FDL and SDF from these acts, they have been doing them where our Patrols are not active and when we are not operating. We are unaware what is happening in Quebec, but our fears are that a civil war will implode in Quebec after these elections. However, I do not decide policy, I execute it.” 

    “Thank you Summers, now we need to find these three leakers and they need to be silenced. If it comes to it, you have the authorization to terminate them, however this will be led by the DGSI if on our soil, the RM6 if it is in hostile/warzone and the DGSE if it is beyond our borders. I expect you all to prioritize this, we will say that they have committed Treason against the Republic and that is the mandate you give to your agents if anyone does ask such question. 

 The Directors left the top of the building. The Ministry of Interior and it's Civil Aviation Security, National Gaurd, Gendarmerie, and Police were given their pictures and profiles with orders to arrest them.
