Ikhan
There have been many myths in the Eons that the Akaatan species has existed, some which have been proven to be real, others that were impossible to prove. Here are two of the myths we now know were true. The Legend of King Adas King Adas, as the legends say, was the first leader of a united Kal'kad prior to the first war with the Kyr. As it goes, King Adas was known as "the wise" and lived for close to five thousand years- four times as long as the average Akaatan. It is also said that upon his death, the planet turned upon it's self, with the Akaatans and the Kyr entering into a war that would not end for millennia. Up until recently, his story was considered to a myth, nothing more, nothing less. That is, of course, until his tomb was found on one of the moons of Kal'kad, the one now known as Kyr'aran. Here is a sketch of what he was believed to have looked like in his prime. The Legend of Lord Tau Midwan Tau Midwan, the famed writer of "Mirsh'nyne be te prudii verda (Lessons of the Shadow Warriors)", was the famous (or infamous if you are one of the Kyr) first Chancellor of the Akaata and a General in the final days of the First Great Kyr War. While he was known to be a real being, much of what was known of him was consigned to the realm of fantasy. That is, of course, until several accounts of his life were found scattered throughout the lowest levels of Kal'kad. These accounts revealed his date of birth, his first name, and even the last day of the war.
