When I married my wife, Resol, the Empire was at war. And now, today, while we stand at the precipice of a new crisis, my son, Kal Taral, would like to speak to you." Saarai said before giving the signal to his son. Kal, upon seeing this, walked up towards the platform. "My fellow citizens, my fellow beings, this war will be hard to win. These Kyr... those who we callled the Aru'em, and even earlier on the Aru'e, or outsiders, have shown themselves to be unpredictable. Even now, our armies march to war, but no matter what, do not loose hope, do not loose sight of our destiny. Now, onto some more... personal matters. Few of you may know this, but I... am getting married in a few weeks. I must apologize for bringing this up so soon, but I did not wish to distract the public from the task at hand- Preparing for war. Now, onto the specifics. The wedding ceremony will be held at the central plaza of the city formerly known as Alexandria, now a part of Administrative District #1. Oh, how did I forget this... I somehow forgot to mention the name of my wife-to-be. Her name is Anna von Achterberg, daughter of a lesser noble from a nation that now comprises of a nation the natives call 'Ruhr'. She fled the nation after the nation she lived in was annexed, and lived for some time in a nation called Amenria, where I met her. We will be married in two weeks time.
