Marcus Dewinter Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 The Peoples Revolutionary Army on order to carry out operations outside Kyoto in an attempt to regain towns and villages outside the city limits have ran into resistance from former Imperial Guards. Reports are sporadic but the PRA engaged a small band of fighters armed with military grade weapons and anti-tank weapons as well as several armored units. The PRA was able to destroy 2 of the armored units and currently it is estimated that 12 of the Imperial Guard soldiers have been killed. PRA causalities include 1 Armored Transport and 7 soldiers. "Former Imperial Guards have sworn to attack us at every corner, every step we take to reuniting this land and rebuilding it, they take two steps to destroy it. We can not waiver and we can show no fear to our enemies. Instead we must show resolve and we must stand firm in our unity under the leadership of this new nation. The people must not be afraid, they deserve to be happy and free from the bonds of war. I ask that all Imperial Guards stop these attacks and instead help us to bring an end to the bloodshed and begin anew." stated Chairman Shinji Mitsunari in a press conference soon after the attacks.
