National Project completed/ Thundera Update

~Three days after the Thundera-Panama war ended, the King secretly ordered for an artificial waterway to be constructed that would allow the passage of boats or ships inland. Now, after 16 months has passed, the canal has been declared complete and the King has declassified the canal. This canal has given Thundera quicker access to the Atlantic Ocean and the King has said the canal will be used for economic and defense purposes. The king has also moved two nuclear weapons to undisclosed locations in the Panama region to help to defend the region.

 

~Also, Parliament passed a bill signed by the King which promotes the Panama region from territory to province status which gives them equal footing and the same rights as the other provinces in Thundera.

 

 

~Current Locations of Thundera's Nuclear Weapons:

 

Mainland Alaska: 4

Hawaiian islands: 1

Korean Peninsula: 3

Panama: 2

 

 

~The King and his family will be staying in the Korean Province for the next 3 months as castle extensions and security updates are being made to the Royal Palace.

 

~The King has also ordered for 3,500 more soldiers to be placed in the N. Korean Province alongside the already 5,000 soldiers stationed their following security concerns.

 

 

~The king has signed royal decrees to allow small and large businesses tax cuts, which has caused the private sector to explode with new business over the past 5 years. The private sector has surpassed the public sector

This has caused in economic boom like never seen before in Thunderan history.

Well, each province is built specifically to keep them tied/bound to the mainland by financial institutions, military bases, etc. They are each given the necessary supplies to be able to deal with an immediate threat(rather it be defensive or economic). It also helps when about 75% of the population is located on the mainland.
