Franciscus Frigidus
Good people of Orbis: It is with great pleasure and extreme humility that I, Polar Pope Franciscus Frigidus, announce that Perhaps the Greatest Polar Roman Empire has recently begun its involvement in world affairs. When I was elected Polar Pope, I ran on a theme to make the Polar Roman Empire Great Again (really, we even stitched it onto the zucchetto's we sold for fundraising), and perhaps greater than it's ever been. The people so liked this theme that it is now incorporated into our name. We bring the following philosophy to the world: Order; Preferential option for the poor; Justice; ??? (nothing too serious, don't worry about it); We are located at 41 degrees north, along a lake. Our capital, Believeland, is shining example of mediocrity. For the last seventeen years, Believeland has been in "rebuild" mode. We are most proud of baseball team, the Believeland Engines, named after one of our largest industries: automotive manufacturing. They have not won a national championship since 1948. We have aligned ourselves with the great alliance of Polaris for many reasons. First, the name was just so fitting. Second, I believe that, in a past life, and on a past world, I was a member of a similar alliance, and am unreasonably fond of it. Thank you all for your hospitality (except for our initial interactions and defensive wars against a couple of people who are now kept track of in our "Watch List"). We hope to develop good and great relationships with the rest of you. With sincerity, Polar Pope Franciscus Frigidus the First, The Most Humble Pope Quote /s/ Polar Pope Franciscus Frigidus the First The Most Humble of the Popes

Jairo Flores
Although our nation does not believe in the figure of the Pope and does not share the Christian-Catholic beliefs (as we are Protestant Christians) we decided to support the Pope Polar Francisco Frigidus as the true pope and sole representative of the Catholic religion.
