Actually the admin was asked to either clarify the rules and compensate Bjorn for the inconsistency, or to stop being dumb and enforce the rules as per his prior precedent.

He did neither, and uses the hilariously weak of excuse of "I didn't realize how much there was." Incompetence should not be relevant factor into properly executing the rules.

Finally, someone else realizes that the administrative decisions are handed down based on "how much the person has made Alex have to do actual work" and "how much money the parties involved have paid into Alex's cookie fund, because he hates fun in most ways relatable to the average person".

Usually what happens with default loans is the nation's or alliances get hit with nukes until the amount of loan is made up in infra lost. Your method is not welcome nor appreciated because it creates money that normally wouldn't be in the game.

My old crew and you had a lot of bad blood, but it's telling that you're out here and making it clear that @Alex is full of pig manure despite it being said old crew that ate it and died.

Anyone else think it’s ironic that the elite bankers are swaying legal decisions in PnW?

this is a very accurate political sim.

Exactly. Alex will bend, break, and rewrite the rules to keep the biggest whales happy and paying.
NPO and their allies' big crime wasn't cheating, or some BS with mangas, it was not paying Alex huge fistfuls of cold hard American cash and trying to make him work on community moderation - including, horror of horrors, pointing out that donators were doing things which were bad for community health.

So, yeah. I'd tell our Fearless Leader to suck it, but I don't think he'd even be able to get that right.

  3. Bonus points if you successfully get somebody's bank raided by joining their AA, firing off war decs at soon as you're authed, leaving the alliance and letting the beige stack

That also works, by the way!

  4. Don't feel obligated to jump right into an alliance from the word go, but do around and try to get into an alliance by the time you hit your fifth city or so.
I'd say that you should consider three things when looking for an alliance - your play style, the alliance community, and the ongoing politics the alliance is in.
First off, your play style. If you don't like war, joining a raiding-focused alliance is a poor idea, for instance. If you want help with city builds, joining an alliance that has pre-fabricated suggested builds might be for you.
Second, there's the matter of an alliance's community. Every community has a different feel to it - The Opus Dei bloc has very different social norms, for instance, than the newly-formed bloc they're currently at war with. It's important that you feel comfortable with your alliance comrades.
Finally, there's the matter of ongoing politics. There's a global war on right now, so joining a combatant alliance such as Pantheon or The Immortals fight be biting off too much at once. This is up to you, though - if you want to sign with, say, NPO or Bird Weed while they're at war and jump into the deep end, that's your call.
I hope you find an alliance that fits for you.
