~Queen Leona along with her two eldest sons Prince Orion and Osiris are away for the tournament hosted in Wintery by the GMR.
~King Tiggera accompanied by his third eldest son Prince Laval is travelling to Thundera's colony Scotland for the celebration of them joining Thundera through parades and local festivities. This is being considered an historic visit since no member of the Royal family has stepped foot on European lands in 900 years since the 4312th Lord of the Thundercats and King of Thundera Cleves was literally stabbed in the back by the natives while peeing in the river they drunk from which led to the establishment of the Kingsguard(a small group of 15 kights that protects only the King and is never to far away from him) by the 4313 Lord of the Thundercats and King of Thundera Zamon.
~After a growing support among Thundera's citizens for an increased study of the ocean, there has been a new governmental agency created handle the ocean. The new agency created shall be known as the National Oceanautics and Sea Creature Administration, or (NOSCA) for short. Their duties shall includes, but not limited to:
· Mapping the ocean floor
·Discovering, naming, and studying new plants and animals that live in the sea
·Collecting and storing information about all sea animals such as, where they can be found, what they eat, their average lifespan, behavioral patterns, etc.
·Legalizing/Illegaizing sea animals that can be hunted by Thunderan fisherman.
·Categorizing sea animals as endangered, extinct, or the sorts.
·Studying the flow of water as well as it's temperature and noting any unusual changes.
·Removing/destroying harmful substances within Thundera's waters.
Already there are satellites being built built that can travel through the ocean (In Thunderan/international waters) as well as land and under water bases being built throughout Thundera.

If members from the Thunderan Royal Family may attend, then Queen Leona and Prince Orion and Prince Osiris will be attending the event. There will be 5 members from the Queensguard to protect the royals.

That is not what I had said........ I said doesn't the King select the Supreme Court. If I was selected by the King to be in the Supreme Court then I would not go against him. That is what i was stating. You sound like your doing alright anyway, I mean if you aren't a Democracy then why should we care if their is curropt politicians. They don't mean anything if the King has the real power.
Yes, the King does SELECT the justices, but Parliament APPROVES the justices. Also... Just because Thundera isn't a democracy, doesn't mean it makes it ok to have corrupt politicians. Also while the King does exercise a lot of power, its derived from the Thunderan Constitution which still puts limits and restrictions on him. Though it doesn't seem like it to a foreigner (someone born and raised outside of Thundera), if you read the Thunderan Constitution, the legislative branch (parliament) could be considered more powerful than the King since they're the only branch that can propose amendments to the constitution (the source of the king power) for a national vote(where some more of those democratic functions come into play).
FYI- Thundera is a Constitutional Monarchy. Also, the King can only dismiss one session per year (there are four session) and a dismissal can only last 2 weeks (each session last 3 months)

Yeah but couldn't the King dismiss the Supreme Court? If they can't then I guess it works out but at the same time, the King probably chooses the Supreme Court Justices so why would they want to go against the person who put them where they are?
No... The King can't dismiss the Supreme Court, but Parliament can impeach justices.
According to the Thunderan Constitution: A) The King can dismiss parliament (which is just a way of ending the parliament's current session).The Supreme Court can declare a session dismissal Unconstitutional.
Parliament can impeach justices, but the King can pardon them allowing them to remain Justices.If your wondering why the King has so much power, its because he's the King. Thundera is not a democracy and never prides itself of being one. But, Thundera does has some democratic functions/institutuons.

Corruption is terribly and can not be tolerated. We are happy to see this madness come to a halt. Though I feel that the King being able to Dismiss Parliament defeats the purpose of Democracy.
According to the Thunderan Constitution, the Thunderan Supreme Court can declare the King's dismissal unconstitutional.

27 members of the house of commons were impeached by the Supreme Court after it was discovered they won the election by a rigged vote. The King has closed parliament for 2 weeks. The King has ordered that a full security update to Thundera's National Election System (T-NES). As for the 27 illegal parliament members, they have been sentenced to life in Thundera's most secured prison (controlled by SHIELD) and all of their cash (a total of 53,000,000 Thunder notes) has been revoked and given to the prison to continue its operations.

Parliament has passed a law which legalizes all form of crime for one hour on December 31 from 11:00pm to 12:00am. It shall remain illegal to commit crimes against the Royal family or government members as well as government (public) property. It will also remain illegal to commit treason in the form of espionage.
This Act only holds validity for 10 years and must be renewed afterwards.

For the most part, this new colony will handle it's own affairs. Currently the only powers that the Thundera Parliament can exercise over the colony is:
-Accept/Deny any treaties made with other nations.
-Allow/Deny trade with other nations
-Issue a draft only when Thundera is at a state of war.
Since this is Thundera's first colony, there's must be rules established over who has what power.
Parliament can exercise as much power as they want over a colony as long as they issue a declaration of power extension. The King has no authority over a colony. The colonial government can exercise any power they want over their land as long as it don't goes against an act of parliament.
Also, the leader of the new colony is Mary Stuart and the name of the colony will remain Scotland.
Information about the new Colony:
-It has a governess
-Population is about 20,000.
Only way to end the colonization:
The colonial government agrees to end it, which then needs a 85% approval voting from the entire population of the colony. After that it must be sent to the Thundera Parliament to be either Accepted or denied. If accepted Independence will be granted. If denied, it will remain a colony. This is the only way/ process to end a colony. No step can or shall be skipped, overlooked, ignored, or the sorts.

SHIELD agents have finally been able to dismantle the terrorist holding the hostages at each location. Luckily no civilian died, but there are a number of them injured and some in critical condition. 47 Hydrek terrorist were killed in the raids and the remaining 82 are currently in SHIELD custody. Upon their capture, it was revealed their not Thunderan citizens. Their true nationalities remain unknown for now.

Due to the Thundera Government new laws to show that Thundera is and will always stay a capitalist nation, a communist terrorist group known as Hydrek has taken a Thunderan school in Sariwon, North Korea hostage. The school has an estimated 800 kids currently attending it between the ages of 14 and 18. They have taken a mall in Panama which has an estimated 1,800 shoppers and employee. A hotel in Hawaii that has about 975 guest. And a supermarket in Alaska suspected to have about 312 shoppers in it. SHIELD agents has been deployed all over Thundera. The King has issued a state of emergency upon hearing the news. The Kingsmen has taken the King to a safe undisclosed location in case they try to attack the Royal Palace and the RoyalGuard has taken the King's family to another undisclosed location. The head of SHIELD has urged everyone to remain in doors with their doors and windows closed and locked. Meanwhile, the Minister of Defense refuses to move reservists into active personal stating that "Thundera's Military is to only be used for defending Thundera from militia of foreign states, not terrorist. That's why SHIELD was created, to tackle terrorist in Thundera and beyond."

Parliament has decided to kill the bill due to the King announcing his disapproval of it.

In the chambers of Parliament, it's being strongly debated if Thundera should hand over its power to:
-Print Money
-Provide a standing army, navy, and air force
Over to the private sector. There would still be heavy restrictions and checks posed on the two, but Thundercats all over Thundera (projected to be around 38% of the population) has taken to the streets in protest for the government to even consider giving these essential powers away. Here is the joint statement from Parliament:
"In our time, we have found that the private sector is more innovative and better suited to handle functions better than any government. It is important to remember that even though this topic is being debated amongst the House of Commons (who reject the idea) and the House of lords (Who support the idea), it is no guarantee that this bill will be either passed or rejected."
°After hearing this, citizens has taken to the Supreme Court of Thundera for a decision of Unconstitutional before the bill can be passed.
Supreme Court Statement: "The power of the Supreme Court to use judicial review for this bill, though a special and important one, is also a limited one. The Supreme Court can only declare a bill unconstitutional if the prime minister signs it into law, if the King of Thundera does, we have no power over that. This is to ensure that they're check and balances in place for all branches of government."
°After the people heared the Supreme Court Statement, they took to the streets and are now protesting in front of the Royal Palace for the King to Veto the bill. The King hasn't released a statement of What he plans on doing or if he is even in support or denial of the bill.
The kingsguard has been deployed to make sure no protesters tries to climb the fence and has been given a kill on sight order by the King for any one found to have climbed the fence.

Parliament has passed a law that forbids the Public Sector (The government) from controlling more than 7% of the economy.
Statement from Parliament: "This law was passed so that everyone knows that Thundera has a Free Market Economy and thrives upon Capitalism. It is the job and responsibility for the people to better their own lives, not the government."
Domestic Policy Expert Ian Gutner: "This is a major but predictable shift within government policy. Since the 1990s, the government has been taking a less proactive role within the economy. If we look at past data, at the start of the 20th century, the Public Sector controlled more.That 77% of the economy. By the 1950s that number dropped to 62% and by the 1990s 46%. Since then it's been a major drop on the amount of the economy the government controls."
King of Thundera: "This shouldn't be disheartening news, because of this move, the national tax rate will drop from 37% to only 12% making it one of the lowest in the world. There's already a classified amount of funds and other vital resources put up in case of a emergency."

Through lots of negotiations over the past couple of years, Thundera has been able to peacefully annex more land. The agreement is as followed:
1)The people of both land will merge their government
2)They will remain seperate from the the North Korean province.
3)They shall immediately be given province status in Thundera.
4)Thundera will move one nuclear bomb from the NK province to an undisclosed location in the newly annex province
5) The new province shall also be handed jurisdiction over our previous annex territories.
6) The new province shall be named Lygus.

After many years of hard labor by an estimated 40,000 civilians. Thundera has built it most expensive city yet located in the Northern part of Panama. The king has ordered the city to be built in honor of the many gods and contains religious buildings and artifacts for nearly every religion that exist. The city is hereby officially named Olympus. At the heart of Olympus stands one of the most valuable palaces to exist in the world which is build/ decorated in honor of the very first King of the Thundercats, Leo. By Royal Proclamation from the King, the Panama or Thunderian government shall not be allowed to restrict anyone located anywhere in the world access to visit Olympus unless they're on the CTIA (Central Thundera Intelligence Agency) or SHIELD (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) terrorist list.
