Why does the Syndicate and every allied alliance with the Syndicate in almost every war it seems to be winning? Is there a good curse on it?
Formula for doing the same:
(pls ignore shitty shitposting)
((For a legit answer, see the above posts by Nemesis and Roq))

Yo, another stats sheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fMlUoFZyrweG_IQAehORTfYR9TZkfFXE-nLOzTpAxE8/edit?usp=sharing
Basically just went through the stats tracker and picked the 'relevant' information, so please bear with me while I get this sheet sorted in the upcoming days. I know, there will be discrepancies (You'll find some in the totals section of the sheet, since I created it a few minutes ago, and it's 12:47 AM where I am).
Features are simple:
Totals of the two sides (and HBE), and then an alliance by alliance breakdown, need to do players still.
(The unit damages dealt/taken that Yoso's sheet once produced were not emulated due to the fact that it takes more than some time to scrape all of them, as Yoso did from the war dec pages. Find Sheepy and tell him to add unit damages dealt/taken to the War API, and then maybe this sheet'll encompass that too).
(Notes are on the first sheet, read pls kthx.)
(For the guys that ignored everything about discrepancies; DM me on Discord if you find major ones i.e. formula mistakes. Please don't DM me for infrastructure value faults, that's Sheepy's tracker's fault.)

That's actually the plan. He just has final exams for this couple of weeks (something I think all of us in college can feel).
So does like half the game ffs. Wars take like 30 min at most, maybe an hour through out the day.
Let's be real here, the main cause for the posts like these (both in other threads, and this very thread at that), is not that LPS hit VM when shit hit the fan right now, it's the pattern. The first time might have been excused with a little bit of criticism from some, but the fact that this has become a pattern seen again and again just makes it seem that much worse. Sure, he entered the previous 'war', but was that really something hard to do when you have those many nations fighting alongside you?
It honestly, and I'm not going to attempt to crack jokes or jest, seems as if LPS merely saves his own skin when things go bad for him; i.e. he looks like a pixel hugger.
(Also dude cut on some of that blubber you have growing on you. That infra's return is as shitty as the moves you pull off. All the <3 from Khorne)

Can't we stop with the "For Steve" shit?
Do you legitimately want the 'Steve meme' spam to start?

My, my, Pinchy returns. <3

I was promised 2000 words, Dick
You'll get them soon-ish.

Alright, clearly this world needs walls of text. (Partisan come back babe we <3 you)
But, before this thread devolves into a madhouse with people slinging shit at each other; I have to say this is a pleasant surprise: Pantheon actually entering a war. No, this isn't me slinging shit at you, this is me both complimenting you, but at the same time, looking at the history of Pantheon's wars (or nigh lack thereof) you can't say that this won't act as a surprise to the majority of the game that doesn't think about you in a positive way.
Either way, even if your blitz completely fails (which I hope it doesn't - for nothing more than a change in the current status quo of good fighting alliances - mind you I'm not saying that this will make you that, perhaps start you on the route to that destination, though) you have at the very least shown yourself capable of entering a war in defense of an ally. At the very least, the people that think you're an alliance COMPLETELY filled with pixel huggers that don't gaf about allies know better now. o/

The arguments that start with the premise that the Death Star involves an extremely high initial investment, and will continue to suck a gargantuan amount of funds implies that the Death Star was created for a strictly utilitarian (in relation to funds and efficiency) purpose.
Why send fleets of imperial warships when you could threaten them with the idea, the simple mention of a weapon that sounded their inexorable demise? Fear is a weapon that Palpatine used in no small quantity, and imo it would make sense for him to morph that fear into one super-weapon, capable of terrifying entire worlds.
Think of it as the Terminus Est (WH40K pls not Orbis) of the SW universe.

I brought that up myself and my plan was to drop from it and sign an ODP with GCB as we already had the Accord with IR. The leadership decided that since they switched ideologies they violated the original agreement so it was easier to remove them. They were given ample opportunity to explain what was going on or defend their positions. They chose not to. GE was already discussing leaving anyway so realistically this was likely to be the end result regardless. I may attempt to push an amended agreement later but this was a framework agreement. It was mainly to serve as a starting point to build on. I am backed up by the leadership and I would not attempt to act unilaterally. As previously stated, this wasn't even my plan.
This makes me laugh. Someone so bored they feel the need to troll someone over being bored.
This also made me laugh. Someone replying to someone trolling someone that was replying (in boredom) to a violation (or seeming violation) of a treaty.

Isn't this in violation of the treaty, though? The only method of leaving, as outlined in Article VI, is for a signatory to give a 72-hour notice before voluntarily leaving. No part of the treaty says that members of the bloc can kick out other members- which is basically what you're proclaiming...
...Which is problematic, because you're claiming to speak on behalf of 'the remaining alliances within the bloc'. I don't see any signatures being proved. I also don't see any other government members from GCB or International Revolution backing you up.
Of course, if SI/GE gave their 72-hour notice, then there's no problem. However, if they didn't, then the rest of the bloc is acting illegally.
When you're so bored that you're reading micro treaties and pointing the violations of the treaties

I have to kind of agree. Every major military leader in Orbis was refreshing the conflicts screen for an hour tonight just waiting for something to go down and nothing happened.
>refresing pages
>not having sheets tracking wars
>not having programs sweeping wars to see whether any were declared against their alliance
Who is this noob-y mil leader?

All that's left is renaming yourself to Valyria and changing your flag.

Whoever made the 'General' sheet should probably get someone else to make them. Those colours do not go with each other.
(Oh and, please do a bit more than alternating colours.)

Militarization Tracker
in Orbis Central
Posted
Reading Kemal's 'Git gud' guide again, I realized that there's probably a sufficient amount of micro to middle tier (25 to 35 ish rank) alliances that still don't have militarization trackers, so I put one together.
For the odd few people that have yet to achieve a part to truly 'Git gud', here.
Preview of what it looks like.
Sheet's simple as hell to use, you simply enable the parsing of the API, choose from the drop-down box the amount of alliances you wish to display (Rankings; 10 alliances displayed means Top 10, for example. Max is 35 for now, I can probably get it to w/e amount if necessary; 35 was just the benchmark at which most trackers stopped.)
Graph, and all % calculations are computed almost immediately after enabling and selecting alliance view options. Color scale represents lowest (green) to highest (red) aggregated militarization percentage [including ships]. Graph is based on total % of the military, and updates with the change in percentage from the API.
The sheet uses a simple, nifty tool called ImportJSON - slow, but somewhat effective if you're not the JavaScript guy (Which I'm not, I use the little Python I know to get along with what I want).
Notes:
- I probably won't be updating this for another day, but if you need something done (Although I've tried to make everything I did as transparent as possible - though I admit I haven't done everything the optimal way) DM me on Discord (@Khorne the Demented)
- Nuke and Missile cells being blank simply means the alliance doesn't have any.
- The sheet's cells based on the API (Grey part) go blank around every minute; no, it's not my fault, it's the default update time. Every minute or so, the sheet refreshes with new stats.
