  1. Some friendly suggestions:

    • It's a global war. It happens periodically. Just enjoy it
    • Join an alliance that not only claims to, but actually can, defend you. Equally important, join an alliance that will but also is able to fund your rebuilding process
    • Buy the Vital Defense System (or get your alliance to buy it for you). It's only a 20% chance of thwarting nukes but that's 20% more than your current chances
    • Also buy the Nuclear Research Facility and get your own nuclear arsenal. May not be a deterrent but at least you'll be able to have your own fun
    • Do not produce food at all, produce something profitable like steel instead. Buy your food on the market

I'm not trying to tell you how to play the game, but this is what most of us do and this way you'll find the game much more enjoyable. If you have any questions feel free to drop a line. Hope this helps

  2. Just now, cpennock said:

there's 26 people selling food... and the last half of them are selling food for millions of dollars each. I reckon it'll be about 7 days before everyone is crowded around that last cheese puck.

Don't worry, we won't run out of food completely. We've had our fair share of wars. The question is why are you still attempting to produce food when it's not profitable at 9 cities?

  3. Since you have 9 cities, I do not recommend you produce food. I would instead consolidate all those spots to producing something more profitable like bauxite or aluminum. This will probably help you especially in wartime since everyone needs aluminum in war. You'll be able to use this money to buy yourself food on the market. I also recommend once we have peace, you store up food for situations like these.

Alternatively, larger alliances have large supplies for their members so I highly recommending an alliance that has a better idea of how the game works and can help you in times of need.

  4. You are consuming more oil than you produce. Your power plants collectively use 8.4 tons of oil a day while you're only making 0.5 tons. You need to build more oil wells, buy oil on the market, or switch to a different power plant.

    • Thanks 1
  5. Maybe just have the project, call it National University or something similar, that makes certain improvements like hospitals more effective? Could go a different direction with this and have a War College project that, for example, increases the maximum number of units in a mil improvement. My reasoning is these additions will be easier to implement if they affect pre-existing variables rather than introducing a completely new metric.
