  1. Perhaps you are thinking of the "Marionette War", where Guardian, Rose, SK and TEst warred with TC (UPN, DEIC, EoS, BoC) -- no one else entered in this one. The next world war after that was the VE war, where Guardian/Mensa/SK declared on VE, and UPN jumped in to help. And in between that the only thing of significance was GPA getting rolled.

    That's the ticket cheers.

  2. Hmmm yeah I remember that!

You were on the other side. Guardian-Mensa-SK struck. I think you were pissed off with being left in the dark or something? You probably know that better than I do.

I do recall when you came to us to negotiate peace. We negotiated that you'd hit SK (who you didn't like or something along those lines) and we'd let you off the hook.

We didn't have syndisphere at the time and it was more of a peace term than i was an entirely voluntary entry. But I guess we'll count it?

    3/1/2/2

Yeah that was one where we worked with you In the end, but there was a big one before that where we were on the opposite side too. 2 years ago now so difficult to recall, pre knows more.

  3. This actually works in this case.

Pantheon is getting rolled super hard because of Steve. Whether it's Steve Prefontaine or myself as the butthurt generator that has given TKR/tS tunnel vision to throw everything at a 21 nation alliance and a 23 nation alliance.

You're right, pantheon is entirely getting rolled because of you, and it's definitely down to you that we have not been countered. You're a prophet.

  4. Nah. TEst has never been in "Syndisphere". Our goals have however aligned on a few occasions. Our military interactions with TEst:

    - TEst joined us in proxy war by hitting VE

    - TEst got lumped in and hit alongside tS-SK by UPN-DEIC-BoC during oktoberfest

    - TEst sat out 168

    - TEst coordinated with tS in striking Alpha. They did have their own motivations for this (ask prefontaine).

    - TEst did not involve itself in the following global war (NPO's first time). They did offer themselves to whomever was willing to pay 1 billion. No one took the offer.

    - TEst hit Pantheon, a tS ally in this war.

All in all, this means that TEst:

    - Opted to fight for us as 'allies' in 2 out of 6 situations. One of which was a simple manner of 'mutual objective but different motivations'.

    - Got attacked and thus forced to coordinate with us in 1 out of 6 situations. Not their choice.

    - Sat out in 2 out of 6 situations

    - Fought tS' extended sphere in situation.

    That's 2/1/2/2.

Haaaardly part of a sphere. :P

My memory is terrible, but what about the first war or two were you were on side with ve and upn, did you fight in those?

  5. I meant an in-game feature where alliance leaders send an treaty request much like a trade request, and the opposing alliance's leader can approve or cancel. Existing ones can also be cancelled by either party. Third parties do not intervene.

I even open sourced the code I used for this in a suggestion thread about this if Sheepy wants to do it to make it as easy as possible. He doesn't seem bothered.

  6. Stop bickering guys, and hadesflames, your Web would be great if we didn't literally already have one and you weren't nearly a year and a half late. Stop trying to push your stuff you're not this amazing developer you seem to think you are, just enjoy playing the game. It's not 'making it for yourself and not caring if anyone else uses it' if you post it in every thread.

  7. The best solution to reduce clutter would probably be to allow each type of treaty to be toggled on and off. But absent that keeping protectorate agreements on it is probably better than removing them since the web is still readable.

I'm going to work on pushing an update this week to make the score sizing live, I'll do this at the same time

  8. I mentioned it is possible that it's a redirect script somehow injected into the site. However, without knowing the exact URL that you're getting redirected on, and without being able to duplicate the results myself, there's not a lot that I can do.

And again, no reports of it happening on iPhone yet, so I will not rule out the possibility that it could be exclusively an Android issue.

Again, read the links I posted and do some research. Yes, it's an android only issue, that does not mean it's not from a paw script.

  9. Maybe this Hummgbad stuff?

As is said, i have the same Problem as you have, just not on PnW, where everything works fine =\

Yea if you actually read that article the virus doesn't do anything like cause weird popups.

People are only saying virus because the popup says virus, it's a dodgy script that directs you to this dodgy page to make you think you've got a virus and download their crappy anti virus software.

Edit: did some googling (you'd think Alex could have done this) and it looks like a dodgy redirect script has made it's way into paw.

'It came up while checking a site that I built. My client's site had been hacked with a "Redirect" file.'

    http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s5/456001-something-popped-up-saying-my-device-infected-virus.html

have a read through all of that and it sheds some light.

  10. Tried to update things, but I can only delete things currently (heh). Phiney's broken something and doesn't know his PW to log in and fix it, and I think he forgot the email attached to it.. Sooooo not sure when I can add things again.

Whilst intending to do a code update, I actually managed to break it without touching any code. Should be back working now.

  11. !blame user

Doesn't instil much trust and encouragement in you sheeps when your first thought is always to Blame the user. Especially if it's happening to multiple people and you still refuse to believe. It's a problem with your one game, not our 20 phones.

  12. We posting logs now?

  13. What lordrahl says. It's not a real virus. I've had it happen on different pages, bank, alliance list etc. It redirects and then won't let you leave, and I'm on a secure home network. Notice the pw in the url.

Different phone, network and country to rahl

  14. It's a little bit hypocritical to say, "we're hitting GPA because that's how we want to play the game" while denying GPA the opportunity to play the game as they like (as a nation building simulator).

Edit: P.S. I wonder what all this scape-goating/band-wagon hating on GPA even though they really haven't done anything objectively wrong reminds me of.

For real the circle-jerking when it comes to anti-neutrality and anti-GPA is kind've absurd and mostly sad. Yea yea blah blah blah they're !@#$ for being neutral and I must be a !@#$ for supporting that style of game play, something something about should be playing farmville instead.

It's more gpa are no. 1 so it's destroy o'clock. No one would be as bothered if you were number 5. Neutrals havnt earned their place.

  15. The $2.8b number wasn't referring to opp. cost, originally. What you did right here is just change the discussion. I won't call it a full derail, but instead of just admitting that number was way off (and lets be honest, it's laughably off), you've now tried to change the discussion. Despite that, if we had peaced out early, then rebuilt, then as you well know tS/BK hits NPO/UPN and we defend our allies like we do, then lose all the infra again.......you it would've been a negative opportunity cost when factoring in what we spent on rebuilding. So your point, while changing the discussion, is also wrong. And Alpha was 100% correct in assuming another war would break out very soon if we had peaced out tS out 30 days ago and rebuilt.

What you just did here is like if I said "I make $35m a week." and you replied, "No you wrong, you make $100m if you count in 5 other Alpha members."

And it seems like you constantly do this when the points I make are accurate and reasonable. I get that it's a common debate tactic, but it doesn't really serve any purpose and just leads me to believe you are just shitposting, no offense. But I'll let this go since I have no doubt you'll keep changing the discussion instead of trying to listen to what I'm saying. I think it's only people that have huge problems with me don't realize that I understand the economics of this game better than most and hence why Alpha had the funds to fight the way it did when no one expected we'd be able to. Failure to admit that just results in exchanges like this one, Phiney. Oh well, take care mate. I can respect the way Prefontaine handles TEst and the interesting moves he's made, even if we don't get along personally. Not showing respect, that is your right, but maybe it's time to put me on ignore.

Ahahahaha you are a real piece of work arnt you. Tell me where I said what kind of cost the 2.8b was. I simply saw your claim of 2.8b a week being rubbish and decided to work out whether opportunity cost included you could actually make that number. I had 0 idea what the context was originally and do not care. My topic never changed. Stop being such flannel.

  16. Wrong wrong wrong wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong.

Retina screens are now the norm, all iconography and most imagery should be 2x size and scaled down to get decent resolution. Just saying.

  17. LordRahl2, sure went silent fast. It would be nice if he apologized for slandering Alpha.

It's not what we were making, it's what we were spending on nukes mainly. We were dropping 50-70 nukes a week. You can do that math on what those cost and realize $2.8b/week is a laughable number. Our income didn't come from net cash income clearly, but we were still making resources which was a number many people have failed to factor into things. It's also why they are confused at how Alpha self-funded the war tS declared on us. We didn't pull $2.8b from our alliance warchest the entire war, lol. Not even close to that.

Right, so actually it was likely at least 2.8b a week if you include opportunity cost and actual costs together Is what you're saying.
