The embargo option, which has already been suggested by someone else seems like a great idea. And it would be even better if alliance leaders can also set trade embargos, as well as individual nations.
As for the banks, right now it's a vague idea at best. Would like to see some more specific descriptions of how it would work, but sounds promising.

I say ni
Aslong as there's a limit on it I don't mind. i.e if someone is actually unhappy with their name and want to change, instead of changing it every week to confuse people.

Lol that's counterproductive though because the more VoC nations you declare on, the more people come on our forums saying they have been attacked and then people like me declare on you to help those nations. So instead of being randomly raided by 1 or 2 of our nations, you will continue to be hit.
In fairness to him I think he is focusing on dealing out the maximum amount of damage he can, as opposed to minimising the amount he takes.

"Food
Avg. Price: $4578"
This is why your current system is broken. It's ridiculously easy to manipulate when it only cares about 1000 units.
It would still be fairly easy, even if it is increased. Especially for resources like food. A small tax for the buyer would solve the issue perhaps?

That was a pretty bitter comment.
You will get used to it.

Sounds good!
Also how large of an undertaking would it be to integrate the forum registrations with the ingame ones? I know personally I didn't get involved with the forums straight away, just because I wasn't bothered to get registered again, heh.

I like the colour system as it adds another dynamic to the game. And unlike in other games where we have seen colour politics ultimately fail because there are no tangible benefits, PnW's current system quite clearly offers a solution to that. Generally I feel that the whole game itself is like a self evolving organism, and ultimately if the community doesn't like or there isn't a place for something within the game, over time it will be eradicated. This world is still young, and it's only natural that all the alliances are moving towards their own strategic advantage -- it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be for the best in the long term.
I like the ideas proposed though. It would be cool if there was also ingame incentives to grow the sphere, instead of just colonising it. The tax on goods on the market bought by someone from a different colour could be something that actually offsets the gain in stock colour bonus.

How long before UPN hits the top 3/BLOC drops out of top 10?
-
UPN has shown yet again that they are a force to be reckoned with. Twice now, they have taken out alliances larger than them at the time of attack. In PC's case, they were twice as big as UPN.

Further proof that PC and >BLOC are the ONLY cool people here. B) B) B)
You butthurt that we kicked their asses and will kick yours now too?

wow, bullying much.
I have a serious question. In the last 79 days, has there been a single war in this game >bloc has not been involved in? The only one that comes to mind, was the 1 day skirmish involving imperium, where no wars were actually declared. Like, what did you all do before we came here? Sit around, amass virtual militaries and money, and not use them?
UPN and PC had a full scale, month long war or so.

>Bloc's responses here as are expected. Childish and stupid, it's a wonder why people even acknowledge them as an alliance.
To be fair, they add an extra interesting dynamic to the game and will be a force to be reckoned with -- particularly post reset.

Hans looks pretty

VoC vs GPA would be a fight I'd actually like to see. Both alliances are fairly even matched right now.
Not much chance of that happening with so many pixel huggers on this planet.

It's been pretty stagnant lately. Respect goes out to the likes of BLOC and PC who aren't scared to ruffle some feathers and make things happen.
Here's to a good war. o/
Hopefully post reset the two of us are both equiped with the best knowledge of the war system

Nations vote with their feet. If they don't like an alliance policy, they leave. It's no doubt going to be used on an alliance wide level, and it would save a lot of time instead of having to type in 20+ nations for 40 different people manually.
