    The IbeR&Rian Accord

     

    PREAMBLE

     

    The sovereign alliances of Iberia and R&R herein referred to as the signatory alliances, have agreed to put pen to paper to symbolise their friendship with one another.

     

    ARTICLE I- Non-Aggression

     

    The signatory alliances agree to maintain peace between each other and their direct allies.

     

    ARTICLE II- Intelligence

     

    The signatory alliances agree to pass along vital intelligence to one another in a timely manner.

     

    ARTICLE III- Aid

     

    The signatory alliances agree that aid may be given freely between the alliances in the form of diplomacy, financial, or administratively, but they are not mandated to do so.

     

    ARTICLE IV- Defense

     

    The signatory alliances agree that one signatory can come to the aid of the other militarily, but it is not required to do so.

     

    ARTICLE V- Upgrade

     

    The signatory alliances agree that this treaty may be upgraded at any time after a passing vote by both governments.

     

    ARTICLE VI- Cancellation


    The signatory alliances agree that this treaty may be canceled at any time by either alliance, and that it will remain in effect for 72 hours, before becoming void.

    Wait, this is a a proclamation of unrecognized hostility? O.o

     

    I've seen worse. :P

     

    Just trying to clear the air about that other post, which someone falsely posted. And hi Enzos... miss ya buddy. 

     

    This alliance leadership seems pretty responsible.

     

    Thank you. If war is called for, we will greet it with glory. But, it is not our time.

    PROCLAMATION BY ORDER OF THE KING OF IBERIA

     

    I would like to start by saying Iberia has not interest in this current conflict. We have connections to both sides of the war, and wish them both the best of luck. 

     

    In regards to the League of United Nations (LUN), the post https://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/11112-league-of-united-nation-declaration/ refers to a Declaration of War against the Iberian alliance, and another alliance that is under the protection of UPN. 

     

    1) We do not recognize any hostility with LUN. 

     

    2) A LUN member, Lawson, raided an Iberian nation. He was sent a message to offer peace, and did so. I personally thank him for that. The Iberian nation chose not to accept the peace (even though they were told to) and continued to wage the defensive war. 

     

    3) We view the Lawson versus Robert Range conflict as a raid, and will be handled as such. I have sent a message to their government, and intend to keep the peace as much as possible. 

     

    4) The disturbing provocation outlined in the (what I believe to be) fake DoW, is an outrage, and something we should not stand for.

    You look real good sitting on top with all the money.

     

    I have always had the highest respect for you, at one time I felt the need to earn your respect and forgiveness. I have known Hans and Saru since (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways).

     

    When you declared a pretty one sided war with TKR, you activated our defensive treaty with them thru the Obsidian Order. The Nuclear Knights are forced to step in to give the slap potentially needed to help you regain your sense. This isn't your war.

     

    The Nuclear Knights officially declares war on the UPN.

     

    Not all is lost. In true Apeman form, a chance to avoid the carnage. If you peace out TKR, we will peace you out and return to our respectful stance. My only issue is the fact you attacked our fellow Knights.

     

    You have twelve hours to respond.

     

    That leaves only 2 questions

     

    1. Will you answer me here before you blitz us? Even answer in advance then meet me on the field when it's go time. I will fight you honorably face to face. We will not strike till the time expires on this offer

     

    2. What color does the great purple wall turn when it glows green?

     

    Great DoW to our good friends at NK. Diplomacy first, but when all else fails, show no mercy.

    Still wondering why of all people UPN attacked BK's ally TKR. 

     

    Absolute respect for you Apeman. It takes guts to call out your friends--but unlike Alpha it seems like NK is actually willing to talk this over and offer a diplomatic peaceful route as well. I don't know you, but I salute you. o7

    First UPNer here - I wonder why. Sadly, we probably can't accept your peace, so we will have to settle it with war. Yay!

    Iberia seeks qualified government members

    We are currently looking to fill our Duke of Castille, Duke of Leon, and Duke of Portucale positions. Individuals who are ACTIVE on forums and IRC will be considered to interview for the positions. Foreign members MUST join Iberia and pass a 14-day probationary period before accepting a government role. 

     

    Duke of Castille (MoFA):

     

    -Responsible for overseeing Diplomat Corps

    -Responsible for maintaining foreign embassies

    -Responsible for activity in domestic embassies

    -Responsible for leading the Foreign Affairs Plan set forth by the King

     

    Duke of Leon (MoMA):

     

    -Responsible for enforcing peacetime military requirements and warchests

    -Responsible for overseeing MILCOM

    -Responsible for leading the Defense Plan set forth by the King

    -Responsible for the development of military strategies

     

    Duke of Portucale (MoEA):

     

    -Responsible for establishing the Beja International Bank to handle alliance loans

    -Responsible for paying out City Grants, City Subsidies, and Project Grants. 

    -Responsible for establishing and maintaining the alliance market. 

    -Responsible for overseeing the Banker and Broker Corps

    -Responsible for leading the Economic Plan set forth by the King
