  1. I would like to announce that the short war between the Bloc Death and Cornerstone to be over, ending on a white peace. All hostilities have ended and The Bloc death considers its ODP with The Fighting Pacifists to be fulfilled as Cornerstone was pretty beat up between all the alliances at war with it.

    Peace in our time.

I trust you actually told your people to offer truces to my members when you arbitrarily declared this peace? :P

  2. I was originally going to post a mock religious text like the others did about how CS views Roq as the Second Coming and we will happily die for Pacifica but I got bored part way through. So here is some leaked classified footage of me, Roq, Bezzers, and Curu during a hegemoney meeting.

If you are wondering where Bezzers is, he is disguised as that plant in the background.

Note that all the shit posters are from NPO. The other alliances are interestingly silent.

also @ steve - I appreciate NPO for going for an unorthodox strategy and shaking things up. Can't exactly praise them though.

Because I have better things to do with my life than shit post on the forums of this game. I have officially left it to Greatkitteh, who is clearly the superior shit poster.

  3. If BK, Zodiac, and CS wanted to be in a hegemoney why would they leave Syndisphere in the first place? I don't want to put words in their mouth, but it seems like they opted for the route of making things more interesting.

If two spheres existed and the fighting parts are equal or close to it, then no hegemoney exists. There doesn't has to be a hegemoney in place at all times.

To be frank no one in CS wants to establish a hegemoney (no CS veteran anyway), and the vote to join the Inquisition would have failed if we felt that way (the vote was already a close one). However, while I may not have much love of this game itself and the stagnancy the game has been in since Silent, I personally favor change to the game. Change but not hegemoney. My ideal would be two or three or even four factions competing for the top and it being exchanged without a hegemoney established. hegemoney is boring but competing to take, and hold onto, the top is fun in my mind if you don't mind the constant burning of pixels.

Despite all the destruction my nation is having I am having fun fighting a war again. And to me that is what matters (wish it didn't come during final week but still), I don't give a dime about pixels nor should anyone really in the face of having fun. This is a game, not life and death, something I feel some people have forgotten.

You would have a point...but I believe it is rather telling that they only left Syndisphere after BK had already requested for a supremacy clause from TKR. That points to a whole other motive entirely.

Just to make clear you are talking about BK in the part I italicized right? :P Because I didn't hear about BK asking for a supremacy clause from TKR. But since the CS-BK treaty doesn't have an info sharing clause I am fine with that, and even if it did I would still be fine with that. It is not our place to tell our allies what to do and generally we have had a history of being mellow and fair allies, even if people in this war may accuse us of treason we pushed for TKR and the Coalition to not be hit during the planning out of honoring our allies, even if we would be on opposite sides. The Inquisition is pretty much the most active we have been on the political landscape since our foundation.

  4. I honestly didn't want to give your alliance and your failure to understand how a treaty works the dignity of a response but ah well.

Hey when you see loot you take it, but to be fairs they said they were being attacked by you and so the ODP was valid. Anyways were in the war so yea

I can state with 100% certainty that we didn't fire the first shots at TFP. They fired the first shots at us because they, like you, do not understand what triggers an ODP.

  5. are you saying it was unintelligent to join a bloc with us? :v

No. More the senate isn't a puppet or a simple figurehead for the leader like it would be in some alliances. I don't control the Senate or what it decides. When it comes to declaring war and deciding treaties they have executive power. Which means they must be people who can think for themselves and produce their own opinions and that our democracy must be functional.

  6. Didn't CS cockblock Lordaeron from joining a new sphere that you guys were in talks about (Before IQ formed)?

I'd have to check back on my sources, but I'm pretty sure CS was the group that did that.

If by "cockblock" you mean "Have a functioning democracy with intelligent people in it" then yes. Why do you think Lordaeron withdrew?

But no it was a bloc idea with The Chola, Lordaeron, and Cornerstone. We didn't block them as much as held a vote and decided not to join them.

  7. I've tried to stay out of these DoW topics and managed to not post here for a few hours, but this I cannot resist.  It has nothing to do with ingame current events, nor will it be motivation for Alpha's position in the broader conflict.....but your DoW is also very offensive to me personally.

Like a lot of Sunday School teachers, many things are taught incorrectly.  And I'm not even talking about biblical accounts, generally accepted as truthful to those who believe, but the interpretation and application of those accounts/facts/etc.

Your DoW is offensive on many levels.  I know you will claim you are just RP'ing.  Similar to some kid RP'ing a Jihadist/Islam themed alliance, so are you to what you just did here.  It's okay to be of whatever faith you wish, but please try to at least understand your faith before you post DoW's like this one.

I much preferred NPO's to this one.  Let them lead you into the promised land.  ;)

Steve to be frank I don't care. I was going for a half-ass approach anyway, it fit in my mind with Syndicate's corporation theme. So save the preaching, especially to someone who goes to college with the goal of a degree in religion. Unless you are going to claim that you somehow possess higher knowledge than someone who actually studies their faith in an academic environment your words simply have no meaning.
