I think the problem with comparing this war to the Alpha conflict is that Alpha was able to annoy and stall the growth of about 3-4 times the nations that they had. In this war the lower tier meatgrinder, which is probably not making great income while holding military units and improvements, actually outnumbers the nations they're pinning.
Because easy mode reasons roq explained, not much.

Some leaders dont get truly apprieciated. Steve was one such leader, who despite creating the pacifian race, was given meme status. Fredrick the grobbsharbig and Napoleon all got ganged up on, but they were all now considered great leaders.

Dear leader roquentin was shitposted at by spoiled hedgemon easy mode kids. Our hamster leader, good hamster leader, was accused of trying to make his own hedgemony. He was accused of being salty, and worse, incompetant. He was even accused of being wrongquentin!
Despite this, we know rightquentin was always right. Rightquentin did nothing wrong. He was, in fact, a hero. For instance, for years NPO has struggled against BK, and this war they brought bk down! He takes from the rich and gives to himself. He takes from easy mode and kills the game entirely, making it extremely difficult mode!
I think that emperor rightquentin was severly mistreated and misinterpeted, even as a hero. Screw Pantheon, we muat appreciate our leader and emperor! FOR ROQUENTIN!

Dear leader Roquentin was vert smart. He first appeared to me when i was in UPN. UPN is a NPO puppet that we use to dump our unfavorable nations who preach a false democracy. I really cried and asked him to give me another chance. I shitposted about alpha in oktoberfest, but now i would be FOR STEVE.
He with his infinate kindness took me. I though myself on the hanster, and for once, saw true freedom.
