I'm not saying it's all evil it creates allot of evil. There are a few religions out there that are very peaceful in their ways. Religion in my life has always been a bad thing. The people i know that are strong christians think they are better than others and no matter what bad they do it's wiped out by the fact they are the church organ player! Thousands have died due to others extreme religious beliefs wars have been and still are being created due to religion. There is never any excuse for causing harm to anyone else regardless of what they have read in a book. Part of the reasons they inflict harm on others is because of who they are as a person. Maybe many years ago when people of the church took the homeless or disabled in they were very good and useful but that doesn't happen much now. However, religion also brings hope to people. Although i have never done the whole religion thing in a dark time of my life a pastor knocked on my door i was well known in the community and he said he had heard of me and wanted to offer help. He would help me anyway he could including financially. I turned him down but it did offer a glimpse of hope in my life that someone out there actually cared. which is one thing religion does it offers hope to many. But apart from giving that which the creates anyway it doesn't appear to have much else to offer anymore.
The Jews look like the main victims to terrorism at the moment when realistically they were the first terrorists in the 1st century against the roman empire. Jehovah witnesses terrorise more people in my country on a daily basis knocking on doors at dinner times and bath times! I once told a jehovah's witness i was muslim and if my husband caught me talking to them he would beat me ha ha ha that got rid of them!!!

So we evolved and adapted to our surroundings
(In religious books there have been numerous sources of humans living for hundreds of years, since the climate adn earth was very different at the time it is very very reasonable that humans evolved)

As a person living in Muslim majority country (Indonesia), every muslim I met are nice... when you talking to them face to face. When you're not around I guarantee you will talk shit about you all the time. Sometimes I'm guilty of this too.
Also people are pretty racist against jews here, even though there's no jews living in Indonesia. Islam causes people to hate something they never even see in their whole life.

I appreciate your noble goal of bringing enlightenment to all those who are disillusioned about Islam and I would like to thank you personally for making this thread. My first question is about the Hadith, as you are well aware, the Hadith proscribes death as the proper punishment for apostasy. Can you please describe why this is the proper course of action and how 21st century states should incorporate this into there societies?
I call answering this first
Punishments mentioned in the Quran would be very different today, although some nations still practise stoning and such. But Allah wants us as human beings to move forward in life. Which is why muslims helped create so much in the golden age of islam
Now, regarding the question. A society where we follow punishments and stuff from the Quran drastically needs to change
Apostasy was treated by death because during that time religion and the country was one, so leaving islam was considered being a traitor to your country, because people who left islam gathered other to fight islam,
However, punishments such as: Associating partners with god, leaving islam, and insulting islam. Would not be charged in todays court system.
These things are for Muslims to avoid, and avoid taking part of. The punishment for spirtutal things (such as apostasy) today should not be punishable by ANYTHING, instead that is for Allah to judge and not people.

I absolutely agree that this would be the result of the proposed system.
But what is so terrible about such a 'colonial' order? Are not some protected alliances similar to colonies? Considering the present state of some protectorates, I think that the proposed change would add more geographic realism to the already existing system.
Plus, a squabble over geographic control would offer a far more realistic casus belli than the present-day emotionally-driven wars.

Homosexuals- In my opinion i dont care. Who am i to say who should have sex with who?
Judaism: Dont really know a lot, ive only recently started studying them but they seem fine.

Well in order to become a Muslim it's not that simple. You need to believe that there is one God and he is Allah (meaning no Holy Trinity), and Muhommed is his only profit. There are other smaller things, but a simple belief in Allah's existance doesn't really earn you the Title like stating your Libertarianness gets you into John Galt's Special room.
Well like i said it depends on what you consider a Muslim
If you think a muslim is a different religion with its own seperate beliefs and such then all you need to do to become a muslim is recite tashahood. Proclaim that there is no god but god and the Prophet is his messenger.
Then you have to believe in 5 things: God, Prophets/Messengers, Angels, the Books, and the Last Day
Boom youre pretty much a muslim.
Mainly its Proclaiming the god thing and youre a muslim. So yea a simple belief in God's existence with good deeds and avoiding bad things will get you into heaven
On some occasions its believed by very few muslims that an Atheist who does lots of good and stays away from evil and leads a very good life and doesnt bash on religion would be considered among the believers

So who was the first Muslim? I have see conflicting verses in the Koran that it's Abram and the other stated that it was Mohommed, peace be upon him.
Abraham was the first Muslim
All Prophets were Muslims (including Solomon who was a Jew, Moses who was also a Jew to my knowledge, Jesus was also a Jew/Christian depending on what you thing, and Mohammad (S.A.W) was a Muslim)
However, in the Quran it can be said that all the Prophets of Islam (some i just mentioned) maybe they werent "muslim" and were a jew or Christian.
But what is a muslim? A muslim is follower of Islam, and what is Islam?
Islam is submission to god.
So if you look at it, if you believe in God and you submit to him, youre a believe and if youd like a muslim

You don't need religion to kill that much is true but that doesn't mean anything. Being religious and being killed by an atheist also doesn't mean anything. Your list of people did not kill based on religion.
They are against killing innocents but will when in a position of power do just that. Christianity lays broken so problems with it are minor trifles. Islam is still in a position of power so it spreads violence and death everywhere it goes. Break Islam's power and such violence declines quickly enough. Religion by all accounts as a life choice is fine enough, but giving it an semblance of power is a mistake that only brings evil. If it weren't all a sham America's regime change policy would work quite nicely if they brought down every Islamic state in the region and installed secular rulers, but instead they do the opposite because the Saudis pay good money or something or other like if things are all secular then the possibility of the "unified Arab nation" becomes more of a reality and they're terrified of that.
People of the same religion killing themselves is either on religious grounds of being different sects, or politically (and religion is just an aspect of politics at the end of the day) based on who holds what land, who is in charge, and so on.

First of, where do these virgins come from?

I meant it as in Sunni == Catholicism in being the primary/first religion and Shia's/Protestants being secondary.
However I have no clue how Islam formed and separated so I don't have much insight other than that they're different.
