On another note, Sheepy is it possible to implement a "block user" option in-game? Aside from the fact that he's already received bullying messages in-game, we're now encouraging folks to message him in-game, and while I hope most of these messages are rooted with good intentions, some messages may not be welcome. I'm speaking of course of the 'convert or spend an eternity being punished' comments. I purposely didn't mail my message in-game in case it was unwelcome and he could just block me here.

It's more of a "only block who you want to" aproach. For example, I'd embargo Princess Bubblegum, because her ads are annoying af, and Mad Max, because his flashing ad gives me a headache whenever I see it.
But PB paid to support the game, and his incentive was to display his ads. Why should you not also have to support the game to remove your ability to see them? It lessens his incentive to continue to support the game if all you could do was embargo him to not see them. If anything, sure, make it so VIP members can pick and choose which ads they want to see similar to how some sites like facebook allow you to block certain ads that you're uninterested in.
Just because you don't want to see someone's ads doesn't necessarily mean you want to cut off all trade with them and vice versa.

It's really to each his own. I was in neutral alliances for over 6 years, and I really enjoyed the communities there. The only reason that I left the GPA in P&W was because I do enjoy warring.

Wait, I just clued in to something. Isn't protecting your members less of a special program and more the basic goddammn principle of an alliance? I understand the novelty of keeping certain members at full military, but how is this post worthy?
It's not post worthy, or even interesting in the slightest. However, from my short time in the GPA I can tell you that I was approached several times anytime our members militarized for defensive purposes. Perhaps GPA just got tired of being queried for the same thing over and over, and figured it best to just make an announcement to circumvent those inquiries.
